Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually the cirriculum good but not up to the mark the academic years are great the subject division is great the main problem is only specified amount of credits are allowed to be taken by the students

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees differs on the basis of reservations General fee is 116000 For reservation students it is 26000 The scholarship depends on your household income and your performance in the college If you income is <100000. You are eligible for the scholarship

Campus Life :

The college contains various clubs such as dgang nakshatra fourthwall drams clix and many more the guidance through the seniors is really great There are 3 fests in total Alma è summit and wissenaire every fest has a star night and many more events

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room mainly contains of 1 bed 1 table 1 cupboard 2 lights 1 phone with attached balcony the room is big enough for one person The hostel food is more than average in quality the menu is great South Indians may not like the food at the beginning

Hostel Fee : INR 16000 per year

Admission :

In order to get into Indian institute of technologies you have to clear JEE mains and JEE advance the cutoff changes every year the cutoff is low for the reservation students the exam conducted for the same is difficult

Faculty :

The faculty of Indian institute of technology Bhubaneswar are highly qualified faculty with phd the professors are really amazing at teaching. They also help us to solve real time issues and problems. They always welcome you with your doubts whenever you want

Placement according to the number of students is very good previous year placement record is 95% from EEE my branch it's 98% so placement is good almost 80-90 companies visited this year average package is around 4.5 to 6 lakhs and highest is around 16 lakhs i will try to get a job after completing my degree

Knowledge about college

Placement Experience:

At our college, students usually start looking for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others visit the campus to hire students. The number of job offers varies each year. The highest and average salaries depend on the company and the job roles they offer.Not all students might get placed, but the college tries to help as many as possible. As for me, after getting my degree, I'll probably look for a job that matches my skills and interests. If that doesn't work out, I might consider further studies or gaining more experience through internships.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
