Campus is very big and a lot of places to walk or roam around your free time . Campus is full of greenery and fresh air .
Sports Facilities are excellent . There are Sports Complexes in almost every campus were you can swim , gym , play table tennis and many more things .

Bengali population is in majority , some of them are very nice but I personally don't like them .
Hostel timing is not good for first year it is 6:30 - 7 pm which is not enough to explore the nearby places.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1. Course curriculum for 1st year is comman for ecvery engineering branch , they main course starts from 2nd year , academics is quite tough from 2nd year . 2.In computer science you cannot be completely dependent on college , you will have to put some extra efforts , although university teaches us a lot of things but the application is in our hands . 3.Attendence criteria should be reduced from 75 to 50 % . so that we can some extra things outside college . 4.There are mid sems and end sems and some small tests in the middle of the sessions

Internships Opportunities :

I dont't have any idea about the internship opportunities , I thing you will start getting the internship in the 3 year on wards and even in 2 nd year . KIIT has a collaboration with HighRadius which provide ample of opportunities for the students .

Placement Experience :

I am in 2 nd year not much idea about the placements . You are eligible form the end of 6th semester I guess. No of offers are listed on their website. Highest was 62 lpa and avg is 8lpa. 60-70 % student get placed . Placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1. Tution fees is high . 2.The semester fees is 1,92,000 (tution fee), hostel fee ranges from 28k to 70k depending on your .ccomodation , mess fee 22500. 3.If you get a rank under 1000 in KIITEE exam you will get 10,000 per month (conditions included). and if top your semester then also you get a scolarship. 4.Campus employment I am not aware about.

Campus Life :

KIITFEST around the start of year and many differents events are always their. Library is a plus point in KIIT they have a huge library , very well maintained , you will get everything there. Classes are well equiped with smart boards , ac . Sports is a plus point in KIIT you will get everything related to sports . You can run any group in the campus but should not voilate the rules.Their are various groups and societies you can take part in.

Hostel Facilities :

Room is fully furnished you don't need to get anything . It depends on you if you are very foodie you will not like the food . Food is descent but the chapati is pathetic. Registration process is smooth and ranges from 3 bed to 2 bed premium. You can live in a pg no issues there are several localities

Hostel Fee : INR 56000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is mentioned in the website if KIIT , 60% in boards . You will get everything ralated to the Admissioin in their website . Their is some reservation for sc/st students . Exam is conducted in 3 - 5 phases ones in a year , difficulty level is above boards and less than jee . Exam is free . No suggestions .

Faculty :

1. Almost 95% of the faculty are Phd holders , in first year my most of the professors were from IITs . 2.Faculty is supportive although some of them are not as usual , but you can approach any faculty from different section they will listen if you have doubts. 3. There are 2 mentors for each section which take care of the students basic needs (They are like class teachers).

My perspective, through the University experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent but since the number of students enrolled in a course is relatively high, one really need to work hard if they aim at getting placed at a really good package. It is necessary to keep in head that since competition is high due to huge population of students, you need to consistently give your best and do extra courses side by side.

From the first year onwards you can get a paid internship. If you have skills you can get an internship by yourself. From the 5th-6th semester, you can get campus internships from companies like tech Mahindra, boutique many more. The highest package is 12lpa and the average package is 3lpa 70-80% of students are getting placements. Companies are like krazytech, Tech Mahindra, and many startup companies are visiting to our campus.

Yes our college do gives campus placements. From the 7th semester students get campus placements. It is heard that more than 80% of the students get placement in our college from a branch which is pretty good. The average package is 4lpa where the highest is 30lpa.
