Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is advanced colleged restructure course in a decade and new ugarc is applicable for students If you pass the course of IITK curriculum then you have enough knowledge of the course. Frequency of the exams are so high every every week we have atleast 1 quiz.

Internships Opportunities :

Tower research optiver Google Amazon oracle and many more mainly student have jee rank under 1000 have high chance to get quant job with crores of placements and rest consulting product software and analyst role are offered by companies. Quant role in hfts high frequency trading companies are trading company student will design algorithm and software for stock or crypto trading. I like consulting roles in consulting you have very good connections accross all industries Everybody knows about software and coding role. Most easiest way to get placement is to do code

Placement Experience :

7th semester students are eligible for placement and from 5th semester students are eligible for sitting in placement but a student can sit only once in placement and internship drives More than 200 companies visited campus and around 75% of students get placed in the college at all courses btech mtech MS msc In year 2023 highest offer is of 2.57 cr and lowest is of 6 lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is high but if your income is less than 1 lac tution fee will waive of and if your income is less than 5 lac your 66% of fees will waive off Complete cost of education is around 12 lac in which tution fee is 8 lac

Campus Life :

Total 5 fest is there in college Antaragni cultural and techkriti technical udghosh sports and e summit entrepreneurial and prabandhan management fest of the college. There are several lakhs of books in library and increases new books every month twice. Class rooms have ac projector blackboard drinking water facilities and a stage. Students runs 5 councils and total of 50+ clubs around 10 cells and societies and hobby group and all these will help you to grow your personality

Hostel Facilities :

For btech there are 7 hostels and for PhD 2 for pgs 2 and for girls 2 and new hostel for msc and students and there are sbra hostels for married students Old hostels have good quality of food and room have only fan table and bed with a almirah no luxury will be provided Registration process is ho easy you have to pay only the fees of hostel and mess Ug students are not allowed to take pg they have to take hostels and some phd and pg students from Kanpur come from there home

Hostel Fee : INR 2400 per year

Admission :

Jee advance is entrance exam and you will easily get on nta website and fees is around 2800 and application dates are April and may You will get reservation benefits are 27% obc 12%sc 7.5% St and 10% EWS and 5% PWD Candidate Exam held once in year you are eligible for 2 times at 10+2 and 10+3

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is very low a professor may be take a class of 600 students. Faculty credentials are very good and their teaching and mentorship is also if they want to teach or mentor Approachability of professors is good but interaction is very less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Data Science because of its rising demands as well as never-ending data. College doesn't provide much guidance for this subject. Each semester has 4 rounds of exams conducted in which 2 are sessionals each of 45 marks and Pre-University Exam more like the pre-boards are of 100 for every credited subject and the last one is the final exam i.e. university test these are of 100 marks conducted by AKTU. Internal marks are given on the basis of marks of Sessionals and PUT out of which only the best 2 are considered for markings. The Level of each examination is usually moderate, but a few times it can be difficult. Quantum is the book preferred by the students to get passing marks in the exams. The course must be focused on real-life and practical knowledge, for a student to pass the exam they needed to score collectively 60 marks (i.e., 30 marks internals + 30 marks externals).

Hindustan a dream college in budget

The Institute offers a training and placement cell that provides training sessions for students and gives each student opportunity to be training placement coordinator who can assist the TPO with bringing companies to the college. I choose computer science & engineering due to my knowledge in this field & saw the popularity of this branch during a pandemic. It's my personal opinion that after the pandemic people are keeping a hassle getting these two popular branches i.e Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology. There is a good student & faculty ratio. There are well-qualified faculties maximum are got doctorates. But they only tech about their syllabus nothing extra. The examination is not in the time that should be changed.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem you are eligible for internship and training process. Their is Capital Via, Capgemini, TATA, White hat jr. And etc. Highest package offered is 250000 and avg package is around 600000 per annum. Nearly every student who take part in placement week gets placement. I don't wanna disclose my plan.
