NITT campus life

Dislikes

  • Mess food is not that great and needs an improvement
  • Curfew for girls after 9:15 is being difficult in emergency situations

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is relevant to the market technologies and the faculty will be easily adaptable to the new technologies and the faculty is always trying to know new methods and are ready to adapt to it.

Internships Opportunities :

There will be variety of internship opportunities which helps students to get an easy placement offer. Through internships it's easy to get placed. But placement opportunities are more than internship opportunities.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is the best part of our college. Almost everyone will get placed and there will be lot many opportunities and different domains that a person can aim for. Core, analytics, software roles will be there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have institution fee waiver which helps the backward caste candidates and the people who have income below less than 5 lakh will be benefitted. Even the candidates will get various scholarship opportunities. Even alumini is willing to help the students financially. Campus placements are also too good and are helpful.

Campus Life :

Campus life is too good. One can explore their hobbies and be knowing where they fit in exactly. Even the clubs are helpful in grabbing good opportunities. There are many different clubs such as music, dance, coding, Robots, Sigma, maths club, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

It depends on the hostel. The hostel which I am currently living has good wifi but only one washing machine is working which is being difficult but food provided is not that great. Affordability is good only. Worth being here.

Admission :

When I was admitted it was online but now you need to report offline and submit all the relevant documents. We need to take jee mains entrance exam and needs to get a minimum percentile based on the reservation you have.

Faculty :

Faculty is too good and are highly qualified and knowledgeable and helps us in our projects and placements. They expect us to be discipline and it's good for us only. In final year guide helps us in understanding the project and give more guidance to move forward.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our college was trying its best to provide job opportunities for the students but no companies are ready to give the job to students. The placement training was good but the students want more training about what placement is. They only conduct lots of tests and exams and assignments, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an interest in how the machine works by itself, like censors, how they work, etc. Faculty members in SRM are very friendly and with top qualifications. I can say that the education provided here is very good in quality. exams are held every month and marks are used to give internal marks.

I got admission into this college through my scores in the JEE MAINS exam. The college takes inn students through their JEE scores. I scored a decent of 93 in JEE mains and got admitted into the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not that good at my time. although rround 60% of the students were placed but the salary offered used to be low. The salary offered was between 10K to 20K per month. I dont know about now, the packages must have developed withing these years.
