- Size and Greenery of the campus neither too big not too small just perfect no need for bycycle you can commute by walking only
Dislikes
- 75 percentage attendance criteria is the worst
- TA sign daily is compulsory which I don't like just why we are doing TA duty that should be sufficient.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well, It's IIIT college specifically know for IT so as you expect college is very up-to-date with the curriculum all the latest research is adopted here as soon as it is published, faculty members are very active to make students students industry ready.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship are provided generally the stipend is around 60-70 thousand per month, 2 months and 6 months internship is available for students. We are required to do a conference paper for our mtech thesis. And a mini project in 2nd semester.
Placement Experience :
Mtech is eligible for internship from first sem itself, full time jobs are allowed from 3rd semester onwards for masters students. Almost all Big MNCs visit campus Almost 100 percent students get placed My plans are to get a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees of this college is a bit on the higher end as it is comparatively newer college, I pay around 110000 rupees overall for one semester in Mtech, fee fluctuations are there but sometimes fees goes up and down but stays in 100000 range only. Total cost for mtech here is around 450000 rupees. For mtech students, we get MHRD stipend of 12400 each month. Employment rate here is very very good you will get a high paying job from this college for sure, average package for mtech is 18 lpa, and average for btech is 31 lpa no kidding. Placements are good.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is good,clubs are not very active on masters side but btech students are very active in club activities, Infrastructure is amazing and beautiful architecture of building. Library is open till midnight. Swimming pool is also available Facilities in classroom are good every class alhas a PC and a projector and a white board. Along with AC in the entire campus building. Labs are well equipped. Social Life is very chill here everyone is very friendly, juniors respect senior and vice versa.
Hostel Facilities :
We are provided with a big room for a single student,one chair fan and almira is given also electric switches and lamps for study and tubelight is provided. Meal quality is decent in mess. Registration is done along with the admission in the college itself, well quite expensive but worth every penny.
Admission :
For mtech eligibility is you should have a bachelor degree or equivalent msc degree, clearing GATE is compulsory Cut-off for gate is around 450-550 gate score. Application are accepted from CCMT portal. Reservation based on categories is available according to rank obc and SC st students get some relaxation in rank. GATE is held once a year. Admission process is overall very smooth no suggestions for that.
Faculty :
Talking about faculty to student ratio, I am a Mtech student so I'll tell from my pov, faculty students ratio is around 1:4 in Mtech, 4 students work under the guidance of each faculty. Most of the faculties are very very senior In their respective fields so their knowledge is just great teaching style is very practical, ofcourse some faculty are not that good but overall faculty is good. We can approach faculty quite easily they all have their respective office in the academic building itself.
