Likes

Academic education is one of the best in the country.
Professors were very supportive and collabrative.
Fees structure is quite affordable. Students enivornment is also very healthy.

Dislikes

Placement drive has reduced so drastically after covid.
Professors timing is quite dicy they might not come in time.
General departments are very poor they are very lazy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is designed quite good . I decided to join the college because faculty and academic quality is one of the best in country. Litlle bit improvement required from the TA sides. Exam timings are also very flexible.

Class Size: 7Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It is already a govt funded university. You can also guide young student in campus for there entrance exams by providing them foods. All the sports court are presented in the campus. Film , art everything is there in campus.

Campus Life

Every type of cultural club and all the activities are present there. Even presdient election also happen so you will also get politics experience and college also support people if there is any such talent in them.

Admission

You need to either provide a gate score above 450 or give an entarnce exam . Forms come in may or april whose fees is around 700. There is some reservation for kashmiri students. The exam level is just little lower than gate exam.

Faculty

Professor to student is quite low for reaserach work. All the professors are quite qualified and every teacher has studied from tier-1 college and experience of over 10+ years. Interaction with teacher is very easy they are easily accessible but you just need to match the timing.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

Placement Experience:

Basically, if we're talking about M.tech. students are eligible for campus placement in second year of the course. Many companies have visited so far in the past like L&T , VIT( for Assistant professor) , EIL (for top rank holders) , etc with good CTC packages. My plan is to join any renowned PSU, if selected after completion of this course, as im preparing for it.

Course curriculum is quite fine including various interesting aspescts of some subjects like microbiology where we can pool in the depth of knowledge regarding the biological sciences. Other subjects related to food and dairy information are new but are interesting too

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
