Course Curriculum Overview :

So As per my suggestion and field which i have choosen the curriculam and couse structure is some what like we have covered in btech and previous classes and little bit old, new changing era should focus on syllabus as per latest trends and technologies so that students can get knowledge in latest technology used in companies which are hiring for job roles. Other then that practical implementation and focus is little bit less here. Teacher Focus on students to attend regular class and complete project assignments on time. And attend all sessionals and exam, if you failed to attend any sessional exams then prior inform faculty members so that you can be provided with chance to get makeup test.

Class Size : 18Course Fees : INR 74300 per year

Placement Experience :

Mostly i came to know that in post graduates their are less chance as most of the placements focus is on graduate level students. So most of the graduates get the job and packages starts from 3 lakh to 15 lakh and above as per showcased by students. Also students are engaged in startups to built their own venture and also support in early stage funding guidance and others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees for the course is available on the college website and mostly it is fixed and no changes but at begining of joining the course student has to submit demand draft of approx 50000 to college and rest in starting of next semester, other then that students can also apply of government scholarship up scholarship if citizen of up, if family income below 2 lakh and also gate stipend for gate qualified students. Other then that you can participate in some extra curriculum activity college offers rembursment if proper details shared prior. Also win awards and prize money from internal events in college.

Campus Life :

Fest and internnal level hackathons and drone and other fairs are organized within 2-3 months in different departments, different initiatives are also running for students development and skill development. Their are different liabraries internal liabrary and main library from where students and faculty can get resources and issue books read newspapers and others, it also conduct guest lectures in a month. Google student club is organized for students where students engazed and learn from each others. Also get a chance to participate in events other then own campus.

Admission :

Eligibiliy of the course was to have a graduation degree in btech with percentage higher than 60% and other than that we can take admission here by giving gate, intrance exam at state level, also you can be part of on spot counselling with form fees of 1000 and giving their exam. Notice can be seen on official website of IET and accordingly students has to appear on date in which councelling takes place with demand draft and required documents. Reservation system is also there for different categories. The exam level is moderate and duration can be 1 hour as per syllabus of btech and field you are going to apply like i have applied in mtech AI and DS so questions are related to computer and basic maths. On spot Counselling can be conducted 2-3 times to fill the required seats. Overall Education content delivered is good and no issues.

Campus placement like 2 months summer intern, 6 months intern + full time can be offered by companies, Most student get full time opportunity through 2 month summer intern Students having offer for intern are eligible for full time also since cahncea of ppo is not consider as their offer Sometimes offer revoked student get additional support for next one year through college for placement, student getting offer for package can again apply for 2x offer if new company visit for twice the offer Generally package are within 15-20 lpa for ece, cse and electrical student and psu also visit for offer direct through interview so many opportunity are given to student than expected

Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2023-2035

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

THE BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS OF IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on. Other than that you will have internship opportunities from the college or as well as outside the campus as well. From the last two years, 6-month internship is provided to mtech as well.
