Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good but lacks latest industry level project and compliance, sometimes student need to learn through online medium to get their skills needed for the placement and their own personal project, also senior helps the same for all type but there is less help expected in coding perspective from faculty expected
Internships Opportunities :
Yes internship opportunities are available and one can get opportunities from Amazon, Atlassian, Uber, Google, and top companies based on tests and interviews but generally, it is less hard to secure one Projects required for such can range from websites to security like encryption decryption and monitoring task CPU and disk usage projects, firewall projects, etc. The role can differ from software developer, data science, data analytics, embedded role from hardware companies, testing role and lot more like sales development.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement like 2 months summer intern, 6 months intern + full time can be offered by companies, Most student get full time opportunity through 2 month summer intern Students having offer for intern are eligible for full time also since cahncea of ppo is not consider as their offer Sometimes offer revoked student get additional support for next one year through college for placement, student getting offer for package can again apply for 2x offer if new company visit for twice the offer Generally package are within 15-20 lpa for ece, cse and electrical student and psu also visit for offer direct through interview so many opportunity are given to student than expected
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution feed is generally in higher side for General candidates 150000 per year, for OBC candidates 80000, and for sc/st 40000, one can expect financial support from bank like loan approval but generally not preferred, only student from cse, ece and electrical can prefer such cause their placement package is more than needed to repay the loan amount, campus employment opportunities is less so dont expect from that side for getting enrollment as assistant professor or any other phd candidates
Campus Life :
Many social clubs are there and student are generally enrollment in one or more clubs activities, one main club for example is teaching local students till 10th class to get more knowledgeable source for free and thai helps empower education Literary clubs as well as sports club having competition from inter and intra college are also there so fun activities are regularly organised Some college fests like culruv and Avaikar is famous and generally celebrated twice a year which helps get together and DJ night to help decrease stress for student
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is good rooms are spacious but non Ac rooms are their and green trees are all around which provides adequate oxygen to everyone, During summer it is difficult to survive without cooler and one need to buy from either senior or new one at cost of 4200. Food available in mess is all VEG so if you like non veg you have to order online, even eggs are not provided to student, instead for protein requirements they need to have dependency on all pulses available One doesn't like all food given in hostel and mostly they order food online which can cost upto 150 per meal
Admission :
Cutoff is too high since it is top 5 NIT, so one can get 6-7000 rank for getting placement in CSE, one needed to be too good in Jee mains to get seat in this college Admission process like getting time for some certificate if not available at time is much appreciated in this college other college just deny the application and you will be rejected, but here they provide sufficient time for the paper work extra time and this helps students Eligibility of course is defined best as one in other department are also enrolled in courses like data science according to current needs and looking future perspective.
Faculty :
Faculty support is too Good, they coperate in every terms needed for getting placement is main focus here so work on the placement first academic garade can be improved if needed you just need to tell each faculty incharge and they will definitely help
