Ans.Lateral entry in B.Tech simply means taking admission directly in the second year of B.Tech. The Lucknow Institute of Technology provides a lateral entry into the B.Tech program. One of the prominent bonuses of this course is that students can earn their B.Tech degree in just three years instead of four. The fundamental requirement is a diploma degree in engineering. To be eligible for the course, the general and OBC students should have a minimum of 45% marks and the reserved category 40% marks in the diploma.
