I like my professor of electrical department and their way of teaching
The cricket facilities are very friendly and ground is also big

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electrical branch of NIT raipur is hardest branch but the professor are of good quality and their teaching style is appropriate not bad and placement is almost good and you have to score 8+ CPI for placement

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 16000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For internship companies like J&T and Microsoft, Adani also available in my college they will give approx 10 k for internship in starting and it also help in placement and by internship student also got pre placement offer

Placement Experience :

The placement for electrical branch is almost very good and the placement percentage is 85% and the students get average package of 11lakh and for non-core they get 15 lakh also so it depends on you which field you have interest

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the general category fees is approx 1.41 lakh and general -ews whose income is less than 5 lakh have to pay approx 58k and whose income is less than lakh have to pay 16k For obc category same like general And for sc/st have to pay 16k

Campus Life :

My interest is in cricket and I win the inter branch tournament for electrical. I participate as a volunteer in SAMAR fest and in 100metre race .My next hobby is badminton which I play in hostel and I am participating in NSS assignment

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel meal is good .they serve different different food on everyday they serve 2 days paneer and 1 day egg fry and 1 day chicken so overall hostel meal is appropriate and 2-3 days hostel meal is like normal but breakfast is very good

Hostel Fee : INR 53500 per year

Admission :

You have to give JEE MAINS and for general category electrical branch your percentile should be above 97 For obc above 95 For sc above 88 For st above 85 And then you have to participate in josaa counseling

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was nice when I went for admission I was very confused related to course but they give me proper time and guidance which I needed then I took btech.they tech us communication skills and take to the lab for further activities they improve student speaking skills .the time for the examination is of 3 hr which is enough for this level

A comprehensive review of Curriculum , academics and life in Rungta college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a intrest a in computers and machines thats why i choose the this course. I think the curriculum will not prepares you well for the real world , you have to prepare yourself. They should give the more practical knowledge to students . In every 2 to 3 t=months there is exam or test like class test or mid sem between a semester which is quit tough.

Do know the college properly before joining it

Placement Experience:

placements in this college is not that good , and im from civil branch so im not even going to get placement if i do get its is going to be very low around 2 to 3 lpa. from what i know i think students from 4 th year are only eligibe to seat in placements.Highest ever package i think is around 50lpa which is off campus. very few percentage of students do get placed. My aim after my degree is to give government exams and do something related to farming , agriculture , plantation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested for choosing mech brach.so, I choose the mech branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken in each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyq's are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exams.

I opted for BE because I want further for the GATE and research programme. Since BE is more theoretical than B. Tech so it helped me a lot in Qualifying GATE. Here Faculty to students ratio is about 1500 to 150000 which means per class of 80+ students is covered by a faculty at least.

Remarks:

As it is clear from its name this is a government institution and that's why it posses some government order like less influence of outer political groups etc, which prevents students from having different habits apart from study. This college is good in terms of study, fee structure etc. So this is worth taking admisaion

Remarks:

Everything was good just the faculties were a little bit more strict than other colleges. So if you keeo following their instructions you won't face any kind of problem regarding anything. Just keep you attendance above 75% also.
