- Course fee is very affordable, and campus is very big and have sports facility to play different games.
- Infrastructure is good and professor are highly qualified.
Dislikes
- internet is very slow in the campus and also college wifi speed is average
- clubs are just for names not many programs do hold. So, interactions between different branches students are not that good. and also football ground is only accessible to sports department not even in tournament also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So my course is civil engineering and we do not do much study about tech , all we do study is theory and do experiments and in lab which is i think not that relevant but important to understand the basic. i had choose this course basically to appear in government exams because the vacancy for civil post in government is there. there is one subject that we do study called open elective and i think that is useless because in that subject we do study one subject of other branch , it think it should be given option to students whether they want to study it or not. exams are very easy , easily anyone can passed just doing studying some days before the exam
Placement Experience :
placements in this college is not that good , and im from civil branch so im not even going to get placement if i do get its is going to be very low around 2 to 3 lpa. from what i know i think students from 4 th year are only eligibe to seat in placements.Highest ever package i think is around 50lpa which is off campus. very few percentage of students do get placed. My aim after my degree is to give government exams and do something related to farming , agriculture , plantation
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
per year fees for btech is around 32k ,it includes almost everything , but have to be paid per semester which is around 16k.fees are same for all category . i'm belong to st category so i do get aroung 50k scholarship from my state . for scholarship it depends on which state are you from, but there is also several economic benefits if you are single girl child or child of a military person. Also there are some scholarships schemes which are given based on the test you will give.
Campus Life :
infrastructure wise college is good but campus life is not that good , some events and fest do happen but it is not that great . There is only libaray in the whole university and its timing of closing is very early which is around 8pm. only one sports event do held every year even in that classes are not closed , if you want to particpate you will going to get absent , so i would say sports wise it is below average. but campus offer one big ground to play cricket , football and 2 badminton court and one vollyball ground and 2 basketball court.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is best but internet facility in the hostel is very poor. only 200 students from btech get seat in the hostel and hostel fees are also very affordable and menu in the mess is not that good no non veg. rest of the students have to accomdate outside the campus in pg. many pg are available just outside the campus
Admission :
Honestly i didnt choose this college as my wish , i had put this college in my counselling list and i didnt exepct that i would end up here. i had regretted my decsion when i got this college but i didnt have any other option left and i was feeling very bored due to my drop year , so i was eagerly waiting to join college thats why i had join this college. . sometimes i do regret why i came here because it is very far away from my home and it is not worth it all. The admission in this college for btech is done through jee mains , after giving jee exams you have to participate in jossa and csab counselling , and when you got a seat in this college you have to do physical reporting thats it . And also if you didnt get any seat in jossa and csab counselling , you can also participate in spot counselling
Faculty :
faculty of this college is good and have enough professor for students and also most of the professor are good but very strict in attendance . So one semester is completed in around 3 to 4 months of span in where in period of a month one test is conducted and in one semester two tests are conducted for the internal marks each of 25 marks. Exams are very to easy pass , almost every students do passed in the exams. and most the students do study a day before the exam and i also belong in that category and still do get passed.
