Remarks :

College has to bring Core companies for biotechnology students , this is the main request for them and this is the only minus point for this college. Remaining all, is well balanced and very very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exam structure will be application oriented and it will be somewhat hard. In Nit Raipur you will have two exams for every semester (mid-sem and end-sem)End -sem will be the toughest than mid-sem and you will have lab practical for two exams. All will be application oriented and will be like improving your subject knowledge. You will see teachers explaining every topic and they tell you in a way that you will come to know where to apply it. It will be research oriented and you will definitely improve your knowledge for every class you listen.

Class Size : 66Course Fees : INR 54667 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement of CSE ,ECE, EEE will be great ,you can see them getting an offer of 38 lakh package in 2019 and you will get an average of 7 lakh package, but it goes down to some 8 lakh package (highest) and 4.5 lpa (average) for our branch biotechnology, Because core compay (means if you are studying biotechnology , then a biotechnology company)will not visit our college and the students in biotechnology branch go to other stream some go to find job in coding, others going for higher studies in other countries (best option for biotechnology students), MBA studies. Many students go to Infosys for internships.

College Events :

We will have E-SUMMIT,AAVARTAN,SAMAR,ECLECTIKA, Independence day, Republic day, hollow day, seminars, workshops , Exhibition ,Go green cultural programs and many more ,you will have both subject related and social related , environment related fests . Once you join any Nit or IIT you can see many events happening which you can't count. You can study with enjoyment, These fests will be 1 day(minimum) and a maximum of 3 days. No fest will be there more than 3 days , so it is like enjoyment+study. You can join in any of that fests and enjoy alot.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, college supports you for any scholarships,they support you for any scholarship and help you in telling what documents to submit(THIS IS THE BEST PLUS POINT FOR THE NIT RAIPUR) You must be a SC or ST candidate and your Annual family income should be less than or equal to one lakh then you will be eligible for the scholarship If you are approved for taking scholarship ,then you will get nearly 13000(As I am a OC student , I don't know how much money they get using scholarship , but the condition is true)

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are like god's , because they tell you the environment of college and give you more suggestions than any teacher. They will help you in academics also they give you notes, tell how to apply for something and they share there experience with you. Alumini visit college sometimes and share there struggle and what to do after btech . You will definitely have a interaction with your senior and alumini

Admission :

I cracked Jee-main with 40985 rank. I am a Open Category (OC) student . While checking for Nit colleges by using the websites(like college pravesh) , I got Nit Nagaland (EEE) but I am not that interested in it , luckily I got Nit Raipur (Biotechnology). Now, I am interested in going Raipur than Nagaland because Raipur is near to my living place. So, I joined Nit Raipur Biotechnology. Cracking Jee main is first step , second you have to make your counseling best. I suggest you to use the website college pravesh , which is the best one to predict ,the college you get for your rank. I had my sister, who helped alot during counseling and made my dream come true Not Raipur Biotechnology (I mean you should also have any elder to guide you:it may be a teacher,elder etc who know about jee main counselling) . After that you will to go for admission to your college and submit your documents (they will be tell you what documents you have to bring), submit it and you will get your admission.

Faculty :

Nearly 10-20 number of faculty members will be there to teach you for every semester (faculty means theory explaining teacher + lab teachers). Average age of faculty will be between 35-55(there will be most experienced faculty in every branch) And for us all the faculty got there Ph.d , In Nit's and IIT's all the faculty qualification will have Ph.d in there hands. Faculty present will always teach in a way that you get subject knowledge for your life rather than any semester exam. They will clarify your doubts every day and we can contact them at any time using phone or G-mail and they will explain you with so much of patience. Major part of the faculty will knowledge on how to apply the things in industrial purpose and they have a great knowledge in that.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of the senior final year which is the fourth year the students become eligible for an internship in the hospital. After one year of internship, the students are placed in various govt. Medical facilities like PHC, and CHC. The average income varies from district to district but yes minimum they can earn upto 5LPA or 6LPA after a UG degree and after a PG they can earn a minimum of 12 LPA.

I am is interested in B.Tech Computer Science. So I chose it. Because Nowadays technology getting up with software engineering. In our University all faculty are graduated with Ph.D. And the Examinations will be in three mids and the final semesters will be conducted. Our college has an excellent placement record(100%) all interested students were placed in top companies and some students went for higher studies(MS, BMA, M-tech, etc) to International Universities. I was student of Krishna Public School (KPS) and chairman of KPS and KEC is same so we visited KEC Once from our school and I liked this college very much like it's cleanliness, teachers behaviour, behaviour of each and every staff members.

Placement opportunities are good in our college, even in 6th semester students gets placed in PRIXO Company. After that Techment Technology company came in our college and then ETHERIAL Company came in our college and some students gets placed in those companies.

Opportunities, College is best if you want best study in your field. Also college is best for practical and sports. College campus is also good, this college gave you other coursses like BCA & Other. And for BSc then this course give you opportunities in many fields so I taken BSc course in this college. so over all college is best for education purpose.

Not give great placement in BSc fields. Since BSc is normal Degree Not highly demanded and also a one reason is that this is not a professional Courses, So College Not give placement in this course.

Admission:

The eligibility of getting admission in B Tech in OP Jindal is 75% in 10+2 and clearing JEE mains I scored an aggregate of 91% in 12th standard and got 89 marks in JEE Mains which got me B Tech in OP Jindal in the first list itself.

Placement Experience:

I got a package of INR 4 lakh per annum from OP Jindal at Accenture. The placement cell is good here but for better job profiles and opportunities one has to grab off-campus placements and keep on applying to companies individually.
