Remarks :

Everything was good just the faculties were a little bit more strict than other colleges. So if you keeo following their instructions you won't face any kind of problem regarding anything. Just keep you attendance above 75% also.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As usual the course contains all the basic and advanced subjects related to my stream which was Mechanical. Exam happens twice in a year so we can say that it was semester wise. Everyone gets plenty of time for study for exams.

Placement Experience :

Placement was good in some branches/streams can't say the same for all the streams but yes a lot of good students are placed in good private sector and also in good MNC through the college campus placement. Regarding internship I haven't heard anything about it.

College Events :

Most famous event which was celebrated in my college was OJAS which was annual cultural fest organized by students of all the streams and are monitored by faculties. Beside that time to time different events Happen at the college like debate competition, essay writing, sports and some other programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As my college is one of the oldest private engineering college in my state and also very reputed Among other colleges so fees was a little bit more than other colleges but yes you won't feel that difference after joining the college. Once you start going there you will start liking it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually I didn't opted for any kind of loan facility so don't know about it. But yes on the basis of merit in every stream the Branch opener or the person with best rank gets free admission or I should say he/she pays very negligible amount then other students. Also there was some scholarship from govt to the students on the basis of caste.

Campus Life :

My college has almost every kind of lab and instruments which are very important whether it's related to mechanical Branch or civil branch or computer science every Branch has different labs which are well furnished and arranged in good manner.

Hostel Facilities :

No I was not living in hostel but infrastructure was good as boys hostel was inside college campus and girls campus was around 1 km from the college. It was well furnished and have good safety for students.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes as it depends on our way of communication that how good we are in communication with our seniors. But they were helpful whenever needed also college keeps contacting every pass out student and keep updating records for future reference.

Admission :

My entry for my graduation course was through lateral entry from polytechnic college to Bhilai institute of technology. The selection was through the merit list which was prepared with the help of my polytechnic aggregate percentage.

Faculty :

Faculties of my college are very well educated, experienced and fullfil all the requirements to become a professor or assistant professor. They properly takes their classes of every subject suggest books and provide notes for semester exam and also some exams for job perspective.

It was nice when I went for admission I was very confused related to course but they give me proper time and guidance which I needed then I took btech.they tech us communication skills and take to the lab for further activities they improve student speaking skills .the time for the examination is of 3 hr which is enough for this level

A comprehensive review of Curriculum , academics and life in Rungta college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a intrest a in computers and machines thats why i choose the this course. I think the curriculum will not prepares you well for the real world , you have to prepare yourself. They should give the more practical knowledge to students . In every 2 to 3 t=months there is exam or test like class test or mid sem between a semester which is quit tough.

Do know the college properly before joining it

Placement Experience:

placements in this college is not that good , and im from civil branch so im not even going to get placement if i do get its is going to be very low around 2 to 3 lpa. from what i know i think students from 4 th year are only eligibe to seat in placements.Highest ever package i think is around 50lpa which is off campus. very few percentage of students do get placed. My aim after my degree is to give government exams and do something related to farming , agriculture , plantation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested for choosing mech brach.so, I choose the mech branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken in each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyq's are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for BE because I want further for the GATE and research programme. Since BE is more theoretical than B. Tech so it helped me a lot in Qualifying GATE. Here Faculty to students ratio is about 1500 to 150000 which means per class of 80+ students is covered by a faculty at least.

Remarks:

As it is clear from its name this is a government institution and that's why it posses some government order like less influence of outer political groups etc, which prevents students from having different habits apart from study. This college is good in terms of study, fee structure etc. So this is worth taking admisaion
