Remarks :
I was interested in chemical engineering, and one of my neighbors, a graduate of NIT Raipur, recommended the college. During my investigation, I discovered that NIT Raipur is one of India's oldest engineering colleges, with a strong reputation for engineering courses and a highly skilled faculty. The candidate must pass the GATE exam and have a B.Tech in a related discipline with a minimum of 60% (55 percent for SC.ST/PWD students).
Course Curriculum Overview :
Without a doubt, the college's curriculum meets the highest industry standards. The curriculum is revised on a regular basis to reflect the most recent industry standards, ensuring that students are abreast of industry changes. The curriculum combines old and new methods to keep pupils interested in their studies.
Placement Experience :
The college has a record of 100% placement. The placement committee is extremely dedicated and professional, and they are able to bring a large number of organisations to campus for placement. The batch's highest package was approximately 20 LPA, while the average package was approximately 12 LPA. During the college's placement drive, companies such as Google, Microsoft, Barclays, Oracle, Wipro, Siemens, Adobe, Fiat, TATA, and Reliance came to visit.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The overall course fee for my program was 85,000/-. I found it pretty reasonable, so I did not have to go for any financial aid options. However, the college provided some scholarships and other benefits to the students. Merit-based scholarships are available at the college. Scholarships are also available for SC/ST/PD students. Students can apply for scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal and take advantage of the national scholarship programme offered by NITs. Visit the college's official website to learn more about the eligibility requirements for the scholarship programme.
Campus Life :
The college's campus life is excellent. The faculty is more focused on academic studies. There are five festivals. E-Summit by the Entrepreneurship Cell focuses on industry changes, Aavartan by Technocracy is a technological festival, Samar by Shaurya (Sports Committee) is a sports competition, Shruti by Raagaa (Music Club) is a music festival, and Eclectika by the Cultural Club is a cultural festival. The college also organises TEDx talks. The college provides a conducive study atmosphere. The library is brimming with volumes by academic and non-academic authors alike. NIT Raipur has a fantastic campus life.
