Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a CA intermediate hence I wanted to go in Auditing so I choose this program. student-faculty ratio in GIM is 1:20 which is decent. Most teachers are researchers of their subject only and have a relevant work experience of 10-12 years. Two-way teaching is used and exams are quite difficult to pass for those students who have very less prior knowledge of finance.

Internships Opportunities :

Students in SIP are generally asked to work on live projects of the companies and hence can get a chance to contribute to the company work as well and students also get a chance to apply their knowledge to real-life business problems.

Placement Experience :

for final placements students from the fifth semester become eligible and for the SIP program after 3 trisemesters you can take part in sip recruitment. A large number of companies visit the campus for both SIP and Final placements. 100% of placements are there in GIM in all courses. My plans are to work in a Big firm and complete my CA course

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee is fixed and does not change for a batch however hostel and mess charges may increase in 2nd year by 10-15%. Academic scholarship is given to students who rank at the top of the batch and has vulnerable financial condition as well, In this full waiver of the tuition fee of Year 1 is provided .in GIM

Campus Life :

Campus life is great and is loaded with many events, In GIM you can expect every month an event as there are 20 clubs on the campus. The library of GIM is 24/7 open and is loaded with a variety of journals . Classroom as AC, projectors, Dekstop for every student and all other necessary things. A large number of sporting activities are there in CAMPUS like a swimming pool, football court, cricket pitch, basketball, volleyball court, and tennis court.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is decent here. twin sharing in year 1 and single rooms in year 2 . However on 100 students there is a single washing machine hence it creates problems to get your clothes dry in the rainy weather of GOA. Meal quality in GIM is excellent with a variety of served foods. Registration and allotment of the hostel is done on the same day when you reach campus and it is smooth.

Admission :

In the GIM BIFS course, eligibility is simple any graduate can apply for the course. Application forms are open from the month of sep onwards before the cat exam. The application fee is around 2500 and you can apply in GIM from any of the exams like CAT/XAT/CMAT. No reservations are there in GIM. The overall admission process is smooth

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of its non-specific focus on a single component it covers human resource management as well as finance management & operation management. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:10 Some faculty here are from top-tier institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and others have vast industry experience. Term Exam are held in timely fashion and because of relative grading it's comparatively difficult to pass than under graduate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing GIM's PGDM was a strategic move for me. The curriculum is dynamic, constantly evolving to reflect current business trends. Core courses in finance, marketing, and strategy provide a strong foundation, while electives let you specialize in areas like analytics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability. Plus, the faculty-student ratio of around 1:15 ensures personalized attention. Professors are industry veterans and academic thought leaders, bringing real-world expertise to the classroom. Their diverse qualifications – doctorates from top global universities, industry experience with MNCs and startups – enrich the learning experience. Teaching methods are interactive, with case studies, simulations, and guest lectures keeping things engaging. Term exams were generally on schedule, with a two-week window for preparation. Difficulty varies depending on the course and professor, but thorough preparation and utilizing faculty guidance ensured I passed comfortably.
