Remarks :

Admission to the scores at IIT Kharagpur is through JEE advanced exam and JEE advanced exam is conducted by the IIT itself there is JEE advance every year. If someone gets a rank within 15000 general. He can get IIT Kharagpur for sure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had a strong interest in physics when I was in class 12th, so I pre determine that I will take a mechanical engineering course. The faculty-student ratio is quite good & the faculties are also very very helpful and cooperative towards the students & most of these faculties are having Ph.D. degrees from foreign universities. The exams are conducted weekly and monthly.

Class Size : 300Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are provided to the students. Many students got hired as interns by big companies every year. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, etc. visit every year our campus to hire interns.

Placement Experience :

From the 6 semesters, students are eligible for placements and there many many companies visiting a campus every year the highest package recorded last year was 2.4 crores and the average package was 24 lakhs and the percentage of students placed is nearly 95 to 100%. My plan after getting a degree is to get a good placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is 1.5 lakhs per semester and there is also a fee waiver policy for economically weaker students who have an annual income of less than 1 lakh has been offered completely free course fees there are also many scholarships given to the students based on merit.

Campus Life :

We have a very very good campus life our annual fest is called spring fest which is the biggest hybrid fest in Asia and there is the biggest library in India called the National Library of Kharagpur in the classrooms are very big and the sports complexes are of like Olympic size, there is also social groups and clubs which students can join and find their interest.

Hostel Facilities :

There are many facilities provided in the room mainly the high-speed internet LAN cable and bed along with table along with very big size cupboard and in some hostels, AC is also provided. The registration process for hostels is drawn through ERP.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
