Remarks :

You have to pass your Senior Secondary (10+2) Standard with 75% marks and should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as your subjects. After qualifying for JEE MAIN exam as per your category cutoff, you will have to clear JEE ADVANCED exam also with a good rank in that. The application forms can be found on NTA and IITKGP websites. SC, ST, and OBC candidates along with the Physically handicapped are eligible for the Reservation Quota.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to be an Engineer that is why I decided to do Engineering in Mechanics which is 4-year Undergraduate course The first 2 semesters are easy but it requires hard work to cope up with the remaining Semesters. The teachers here are really brilliant and are ex -Researchers and Scientists with high Experience. Exams are conducted 2 times a year which are semester-wise.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has goodwill in the whole country and always had a huge and amazing Placement Record. The fee of the college is considered average as it will cost you approx 6 Lakh Rupees to complete this course and an additional 4 Lakh is needed for Hostel Charges. Almost 90 Percent of the Students get easily placed in good companies on-campus Placements.

Campus Life :

The IIT Kharagpur campus is very modern and very good infrastructure and buildings and has a good locality also The Library in the college is the best place in college, many Students study quietly and peacefully there as the facilities are very good and the environment is silent. The lecture halls are big and are centrally air Conditioned. Many students from various courses are involved in sports activities on campus.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
