Remarks :
IIT Bombay ranks in the top 250 in all of Asia among the top 12 IITs in the world. It was also ranked 172nd as the best engineering college in the World. Known for its renowned alumnus and quality of education, I chose IIT Bombay as my college for undergraduate engineering. I filled out the online form from the web portal of the university and entered the details required. The cutoff for this college was really narrow being 66 for males and 248 for females in the general category. However, scheduled and reserved castes can have the benefit of higher cut-offs. After being shortlisted seeing the JEE Mains and JEE advanced rankings, I was called by an executive to pay the admission fees and attend the counseling session to understand the protocols of the college. They even explained the flow of the syllabus and about the extracurricular activities here. We were even made aware of the placement records and internship opportunities here. I interacted with the internal faculty and managerial staff before deciding to finally secure my admission here.

The faculty has been extremely supportive here. The ratio of professor to student was 12:1.
