Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen mathematics and computing as it has a future in the industry and it is also a booming sector after computer science and engineering. The faculty student ratio is around 1 : 9 or 1 : 10 which is quite good. This helps us alot in our doubt clearing or any other help. All the faculty are well experienced and hold a PhD. All teachers are interactive and not strict. Term exams were once in a month which were easy to score. Our semester is completed now and our first semester is not graded.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships opportunities are quite as that of I have heard because I have just completed 1st semester I don't have the opportunity to get an internship. We juniors had an interaction session with seniors who have said the placement and internship opportunities in our college are good

Placement Experience :

You will be eligible from 5th semester for placements. The average package for last year placement drive was 1300000. If you don't have backlogs and eligible for placements and have a decent knowledge in programming then it is easy to crack placements. My plan is to crack a placement for now but things and thoughts might change.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for general students is quite high comparing to other category students who got good scholarship but it is an IIT getting a seat is the big matter and ROI is also quite good. I didn't get any scholarship as of now but there may be prize rewards based on our performance and also scholarships.

Campus Life :

There is diversity in the campus. The crowd that came in are also great and you can see great characters here and also heavy competition in academics. The library facility is available but I have visited a few times but for those who are interested studying anything the resources will be at your fingertips. For the first sem as the course is same, classes for all the branches are taken at once. We had one hour of sports everyday which is compulsary for freshers. There are quite a lot of clubs in various fields.

Admission :

I have got the admission by writing JEE MAINS and ADVANCED. The counselling is through JOSAA. To apply for the jee mains go to jeemain.nta.ac.in and there will be two attempts to write jee and you need to get a minimum percentile to qualify to write JEE ADVANCED and in JEE ADVANCED you need to score a good rank to get into an IIT ( rank varies depending on the reservation you have). I belong to general category so I had no reservation. The counselling is through JOSAA which has 6 rounds which wil start after the delaration of results of ADVANCED. To find more about counselling you can go to JOSAA website.

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after reaching in the last year that is 7th semester, various companies visit for placement, including Samsung, Adobe, Nvidia, etc. The average package lies around 12LPA and highest at 25LPA, and last year around 200 offers were given across all branches. For circuital branch the placement percentage is around 90+ and lower for non circuital branches. Many students opt for higher studies after completing the course

Once we are into final year, we can sit for the interviews and mind you placements at PCCE are amazing as a considerable number of IT companies come here for hiring. Wipro, Polaris, Happiest Minds, Nazara Technologies to German company Bosch have been consistent with their hiring from PCCE.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of my college is great. The complanies that recruit from my college are from tech, core and finance. My college is a Tier 1 college so the placements are also in the upper strata. The overall avg package of campus is around 15 lakhs and avg package of CS department reaches 30 lakhs. 90% of the batch gets placed and the rest of the students either go for higher studies or start their own startup.
