Remarks :

IIT Bombay is surely among the top institutes of IIT Group and it was my honour to get the opportunity of doing MBA here at IIT-B. The institute was 10th in 2019 & 11th in 2020 for MBA rankings of NIRF. It also has AICTE approval just like all tier-one institutes of the country while to avail a seat of MBA at IIT Bombay one must hold a relevant score in CAT entrance exam and if the candidate gets through the first step them he must appear for the interview/GD round also

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had already decided during my graduation to further do MBA but doing it in Accounting was a decision taken after taking consultations from some of my teachers, friends as well as per Personal choices. The course curriculum at IIT Bombay is without any doubt top level and having the previlig to do MBA through that was awesome.

Internships Opportunities :

Being a globally recognised institution; IIT Bombay has good record in all different aspects and the internships are one more thing in that list. There were some famous recruiters present for internships round too and I was able to work under one such name getting a stipend worth INR 28,000.

Placement Experience :

Our college is most famous for Engineering courses but even management placements here are better the so called top institutes of management studies. We were able to record an average salary of INR 21.9 lpa during 2020 placements in which over 90% students got recruited. Companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon and HCL Technologies were there for the placement drive and the highest salary package was INR 32.5 lpa for 2020 batch.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our MBA course had totally 4 semesters and students would pay INR 2.14 Lacs every semester which makes the fee totally INR 8.56 Lacs. I think the fee structure of our college was very good to afford because many normal charge higher charges than this while here the IIT group association is available.

Campus Life :

Although our college is mostly dominated by technical education but management field activities and events were also there. The campus life included the cultural fest, Art's competitions, Conclaves and the events of alumni association. The thing I loved the most was spending my free time with my friends under the greenery of Canteen. I think the days we spent at IIT Bombay campus were a very valuable part of my MBA programme

Hostel Facilities :

Being from management field It was important for me to live in the hostels so that I can match with the speed as well as advanced quality of IIT Bombay's MBA. There were sharing type rooms and with time the roommates became more like a family for all. There were good mess services where we got to have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines that too of a diverse variety. The college also gave some productive activities to it's students in the hostels for their growth

Admission :

It was important for applicants to hold a graduation in any relevent sector that too from an recognised educational institution. The aspects noted by the college to allocate seats in the MBA courses were the score in CAT, profile of academic performances, Interview round and the group discussion Activity. I think all these rounds are important to be included in the process because they help the deserving students to bag their seats

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my course BMS finance. I think my course it's so nice and for plans it's so great to learn about management and Finance things. Which is probably nowadays pretty much the spotlight for the times. Exams in a college about these courses were so easy because of the faculty members who teach in a very proper way. This course is very important because in the future most of the jobs are based on this and people are getting jobs. If you are studying well in this course this course has many opportunities front and many options available to join any job after studying the scores course. So, I am very much happy about my course

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after their 3rd year of 5 year course of 1st year of 3 year course. The highest package offered is 5 lakh and average is 50,000/- to 100,000/-. 10% of the total students in college get placed through this process of placements. My plan is to start interning after my 1st year and look in for opportunities in every field. I would want to get a PPO that is Pre-Placement Offer which is usually difficult.

Placement Experience:

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
