Remarks :

College management is doing great job and environment is quite good. They are trying their best and I think it is the best thing.

Entrance Preview :

GATE. To study in IIT was my dream and I am happy that I made that.

Internships Opportunities :

Stipend was 8000 PA experience was good in interenship.

Placement Experience :

Almost 100% students are placed and every one has good opportunity to go in one's choice's company.

College Events :

Techniche is a annual technical festival and over 1000 students from various colleges and universities are participate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Many scholarship are available and most of students know about them through college notice.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is not good but campus life is best. Sports facility and other things are great.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are in excellent condition and food is quite good. Fees is affordable.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni are play a big role in enhancement of students life as well career of them.

Faculty :

Faculty in IIT are excellent and they teach in a very good manners.

A detailed review of IIT GUWAHATI.

Placement Experience:

My insights will be focussed on M.Tech A mtech student becomes eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester, as for btech i think its 9th semester. Very good choice for Masters in Mechanical

Placement Experience:

From the first semister itself you will be eligible for the internships but the internship opportunities are very less, very less companies have visited for internships For the Campus placement in the second year very good number of reputed companies like bajaj, TVS, mercedes, TATA, Jindal , GE etc have come with good packages Highest in core campanies will be around 16 LPA and average will be around 10 LPA 90 percent of the candidates will be placed generally

IITG, a place to live your dreams

Placement Experience:

For btech students they get eligible for placement in 7 semester for mtech 3 semester I was shortlisted in 3 company SCA technologies, IOD solution and raspa pharma. I got offer from IOG solution. Highest package domestic was 1cr and international was 2.4 cr for this placement 2023-24 season. Till. This time 70% of the students got placed. Out of 1200 students. My plans is to join the job.
