Campus is very big and good libraries and good classroom

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is petroleum Engineering. In this college Professor is very helpful they provide quality study material and lectures .The frequency and time of exam is in every semester 2 exam one is mid sem and end sem

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 74000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is every semester is 37000 and yearly 74000 and got a scholarship is 12400 per month and they provide financial assistance and they provide good placement so many company visit every year

Campus Life :

My overall campus life experience is very nice .I explored so many things in my college .they provide so many club like dance club , cricket club and so many other also and infrastructure of IIT Guwahati is very nice

Admission :

I took admission in 2022 from Gate chemical engineering. And my GATE rank is AIR 1190 then through the coap counselling I got petroleum Engineering in IIT Guwahati and got a stipend from MHRD ?12400 per month

Placement Experience:

My insights will be focussed on M.Tech A mtech student becomes eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester, as for btech i think its 9th semester. Very good choice for Masters in Mechanical

Placement Experience:

From the first semister itself you will be eligible for the internships but the internship opportunities are very less, very less companies have visited for internships For the Campus placement in the second year very good number of reputed companies like bajaj, TVS, mercedes, TATA, Jindal , GE etc have come with good packages Highest in core campanies will be around 16 LPA and average will be around 10 LPA 90 percent of the candidates will be placed generally

IITG, a place to live your dreams

Placement Experience:

For btech students they get eligible for placement in 7 semester for mtech 3 semester I was shortlisted in 3 company SCA technologies, IOD solution and raspa pharma. I got offer from IOG solution. Highest package domestic was 1cr and international was 2.4 cr for this placement 2023-24 season. Till. This time 70% of the students got placed. Out of 1200 students. My plans is to join the job.
