Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is very good, very well applied to the current market scenario and requirement. The diificulty level of exams will be solely dependent on the particular professor and i felt one or two subjects difficult rest all are good

Class Size : 39Course Fees : INR 5000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For the machine design course only Bajaj with the R&D role has visited for the Internship that too just 20 days after the admission. No other company has visited after Bajaj. It gave a stipend of 40K.

Placement Experience :

From the first semister itself you will be eligible for the internships but the internship opportunities are very less, very less companies have visited for internships For the Campus placement in the second year very good number of reputed companies like bajaj, TVS, mercedes, TATA, Jindal , GE etc have come with good packages Highest in core campanies will be around 16 LPA and average will be around 10 LPA 90 percent of the candidates will be placed generally

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution is very less only 5000/- per semister but as we stay in hostel we make payment including hostel and mess fees at the start of the semister it will cost around 90000 for the year (2 semisters ) same for the second year as well. for mtech students we get a montly stipend of 13400 rupees Campus placements are very dynamic to the market situation ,we can say placements are good

Campus Life :

The campus life is excellent student can enjoy the campus life throughout the course period There will be one cultural fest one technical fest mainly, but there will be numerous activities going on time to time you can participate in every event There are many sports facilities available like TT,bdminton,cricket, football, volleyball, hockey, basketball, billiards etc Gym is also available

Hostel Facilities :

We got a two sharing room with a study table and chair in it we will have wifi facility in the room we get a monthly bill of around 5500 but the patment will already be done at start of semister along with tution fee food is good we have sports facilities in every hostel

Hostel Fee : INR 65000 per year

Admission :

Admission will be done through gate examination. Eligibility will be BTech in mechanical engineering. Application will be done through college website, fees was 300 rupees, generally applications will be open after anytime after the gate results are declared. I have got admission using EWS reservation. Exams in the course are not so difficult, will be having one mid semister examination, class tests according to the subject professor and an end semister examination.

Placements at IIT Guwahati are good enough to get you placed. All you need to do is prepare well. As an MTech student if you didn't get placed you can still went for PhD in foreign if you have worked well In your project and your guide is satisfied with your work

Placement Experience:

IITG, a place to live your dreams

Placement Experience:

For btech students they get eligible for placement in 7 semester for mtech 3 semester I was shortlisted in 3 company SCA technologies, IOD solution and raspa pharma. I got offer from IOG solution. Highest package domestic was 1cr and international was 2.4 cr for this placement 2023-24 season. Till. This time 70% of the students got placed. Out of 1200 students. My plans is to join the job.
