Remarks :

So basically I applied for 2 colleges VIT Vellore and Manipal institute of technology I did not take admission to them because I was getting Mechanical engineering in IIT Kharagpur so know will be lost the opportunity to get a chance in the finest colleges of the country. The criteria to enter into IIT is very simple you have to get a minimum of 75 percentage in 12th boards and after that, you can seat for Jee main and if you qualify jee mains then you can sit for jee advanced in which according to your rank you can choose your college and branch. So there is a counseling round called jossa counseling in which you have to choose your college and branch that you want to take if there are seats left in that college or in that particular branch and then you can take admission

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose mechanical engineering because mechanical engineering is considerd as the evergreen branch and you can go in any field you can go to core,IT,consulting and many other and mechanical engineering has many job opportunites So professors are extremly qualified and many of them hold phd degree in there field and all the professors are very helpful and there teaching experience is outstanding. After every 6 months, we have every semester exam and the difficulty level is based on the student how much the student is prepared for the exam basically the student can score good marks if they study nicely before one month of exam

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Almost every big company like Microsoft, google come for internship in IIT kharagpur and stipend is upto 2.3 lakhs and many students gets internship opportunity in foreign countries also. So every student have to do internship if you want to get job

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible of getting placement after 7 th semester All major companies recruit from India recruit from IIT Kharagpur and almost 1630 offers are made every year The highest international package is 1.4 crore rupees and the average package is 15 lakhs rupees Almost 98 percent of students get placed here and the rest of students go for higher studies so you can say there is almost 100 percent placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are okayish you have to pay 1.5 lakh rupees every semester and yearly fees would be around 3 lakhs rupees including hostel, tuition, and mess fees So if your family income is less than 8 lakhs rupees yearly then you will get a scholarship of a certain amount of money

Campus Life :

Spring Fest is the name of our annual fest and it is the biggest fest of asia and our tech fest is also the largest tech fest in India. Our college has over 3 lakhs books in the library and it is the biggest library in Asia. Our college has all the sports facilities like cricket ground football ground and what not there is also an Olympic size swimming pool in our campus Our college has all types of clubs such as writing , debating , dramatics, dancing etc.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
