My experience at IIT

J

Remarks :

Getting admission in IIT was my dream. of all IITs the Bombay IIT is ranked 56th in india. The faculty that Bombay IIT have was well knowed and best in their feild so I chose to do my MBA here. And other reason was I didn't wanted to leave Bombay and go anywhere as so this was the best option for me. So for the securing the seat in this college i gave CAT entrance exam and scoring 60% was complusory

Course Curriculum Overview :

The teaching sessions that teachers provided was very content and productive. The faculty of our college was one of the best and super educated. They gave us knowledge outside the book and supported us at every step. The course curriculum is so nicely design and structured that students gets all the knowledge that they required before facing the industry.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college offered good internship opportunity for us to learn in a real world. Many companies visited our campus and I guess all the students out the internship according to their preferences. I did my internship at a local company called haryali as a traniee. They even offered me stipend of 40k per month which was good as a beginner.

Placement Experience :

Placements of our college was amazing and I was very much statified with where I got my first job. Google, TATA, godrej, punjab national bank were few of the companies that came for the recruitment process. Our batch made a record by receiving the highest pakage of 20 LPA. The placement facility is one in the best so I even recommend every student to opt for this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Overall fees for this course was around 7lac. But it was all worth it. We had to pay certain amount at the bringing of the admission, it did not include hostel fees. And about the scholarship, yes it did offer certain scholarships to the students. I was a athelete so I got a scholarship based on my sports merits. For which I submitted my certificates and all.

Campus Life :

IIT Bombay is one of the most pretty one from all the IITs. It is covered by plants all around and is of 550 accres. Our university had a very large library where any book could be found. And it gave WIFI facility all around the campus. The food in the canteen was too good, it was one of our top hangout place. The college organized all the curricular and extra curricular activities for us to enjoy and build our personality.

Hostel Facilities :

In IIT Bombay we had to pay hostel fees before every term. The rooms that were alloted to us was single bed though we did had option of twin bed but I chose single so it costed me little more than the usual. The mess food was nice and homely. The staff were so cooperating and took care of us so well. Bread butter, dokla was a regular food with other option kept changing.

Admission :

Yes as I passed by entrance exam with 60% . The college college called me for my personal interview round. In that the interviewers asked the questions like why did you chose this college? Or why do you want to do MBA?. To pass the PI round we had to score above 6 point.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very helpful for students preparing for government jobs. Ancient history is one of the core subjects. The curriculum is good. Although we find it hard now and then but most students know the importance it holds. It is indeed difficult to pass the exams because it gets hectic. By the time T1 is over T2 and mid sem and viva are there. So all this is hard but hard work brings success.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was okay, and I think we can't do anything about it because it is decided by AKTU university. Also, I think B Tech with Computer Science Engineering is a good course. Also, it comes with a lot of job opportunities as well. The faculty: student ratio is around 1: 30( average of all branches ). The teachers are also highly qualified. The exams usually happen at least 4 times in a semester( 3 sessional and 1 PUT ), and these are moderately difficult to pass.
