Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE 2013, Score: 221 Because it's the oldest IIT and I believe that there will be more opportunities available there than other IIT's . I choose CSE because of the opportunities that the field offers.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum focus on the various fields of the branch in detail and the coding part related to it like Programming and Data Structure, Algorithms, Software Engineering, Formal Languages and Theory Of Computations,Compilers, Computer Networks and Operating Systems.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, There is a separate cell in the campus 'Career Development Cell' which supervises the Internship and Placement process in the college. Every 3rd year B.Tech student is eligible for the Internship. During the 3rd year, companies come to the campus to hire the interns. Based on the particular requirements they conduct Tests and Interviews.

Placement Experience :

As said during the internship, There is a separate cell in the campus 'Career Development Cell' which supervises the Internship and Placement process in the college. Every student who is in his/her final year is eligible for the placement process. Companies visit the campus during December to conduct their hiring process.

College Events :

College atmosphere is very competitive. Each and every student takes part in 'General Championship' which is an Inter Hall Championship. There are 3 parts of the General Championship Technology General Championship, Sports and Games General Championship, Social and Cultural General Championship. During Diwali, 2 cultural events are held, in which each and every Hall of Residence takes part.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There will be two semesters per academic year. Autumn Semester, Tuition Fees: INR 45000 fixed to all except SC/ST students as per Central Government norms , Hostel Fees: INR 33000 approx.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A lot of Scholarships are available for the students. For Example, Merit-cum-Merit(MCM) Scholarship. To avail this scholarship the parents income must be less than INR 600000 per annum. \-Student should not have any backlogs.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
