Good

Course Curriculum Overview :

The institute has a very good course curriculum but the exam structure not very clear. Yes the curriculum was groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students, that’d be helpful in securing on-campus placements. There were many industrial visits organized for the students.

Placement Experience :

The college is newly formed hence the companies that visit the campus is less and those who visited are very average companies.

College Events :

There is only one techno-cultural fest that happens in Feb or March. There are other small events that take place. The participants are average. The fest is not very big in size but there are colleges that attend the fest even from other states and it is fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It has above average fee for general category students but the fee structure is feasible for the other students categories. There are many other fees and charges as hostel and canteen and mass food. This does effect the students with not a place to stay.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The institute offered scholarship for the lower category students like ST and OBCs. There are many other scholarships.

Campus Life :

There are more male students with respect to female students. There are no parties. There is diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. There are students clubs present in the college.

Hostel Facilities :

The college does not have a proper hostel for the students. They are charged a large amount of money but the facilities are not good. Each student pay around 1 lakh per year for hostel and canteen easily.

Alumni/Alumna :

The senior are helpful and are interactive. The alumni association is not very strong as the college is newly formed.

Admission :

I Cleared JEE mains based on st category. You need to apply for the college online The admission starts in July. This course has a large number of jobs and is becoming more important in future. The institute is easier to access from my house, it is also a national level college.

Faculty :

There are around 50 faculty members and 50 staff members. Most of them are of 30-40 years old. There is the director, the deans, the professors, the assistant professors, and other helping staff. They have a good level of expertise and hold relevant experience.

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa offers campus placements to its students. Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year of study, i.e., in the 7th or 8th semester. Several reputed companies visit IIT Goa for campus placements, including Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Adani Power, etc. Higher placements offer is of 1.2cr and average placement offers are16-25 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placed during campus placements at IIT Goa is quite high, with around 90% of students getting placed every year. The remaining students generally opt for higher studies or pursue entrepreneurship. In case no campus placement is offered, students can explore other options for employability, such as applying for jobs through job portals, professional networking sites, or by directly contacting companies. They can also consider pursuing higher education or research in their field of interest or starting their own business.
