Remarks :
It's excellent. There's nothing I need to describe about this because on academics side these are great but coming to hostel and mess facilities there are not as expected due to average quality of food and for conjugated hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses are perfectly designed, labs are well established but exams are tough. Few courses are compulsory for students in their respective department and others are of choice. But there's a limit of credits(which we get by completing a course) we have to complete around 150 credits for B-Tech. Here education is based on semester system. Labs are well equipped and you're accessible to them at any time with proper requirement. Exams aren't easy but not too hard to pass if you study even some basics.
Placement Experience :
Great with around 15 lpa median salary for my department. The internships are available since 1st year ending for under graduates. But students prefer them after their 4th semester due to lack of sufficient skills to work, we also get credits for doing interns so we students apply for it. There are more chances for getting jobs because of the reputation of the instituteand we'll skilled students.
College Events :
Rendezvous the Asia's second largest cultural fest, Tryst is the technical fest. The cultural fest goes for 4-5 days and many other institutes are welcomed for the fest for performances. Many celebrities are invited for the feats during the nights, including standup compedy, dj, songs, YouTubers, etc
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is based on annual family income. Its not same for all years due to the price hike during the past few years in the institute. It almost got quadrapuled in last five years(max). Iam talking about the maximum fee i. e. annual income more than 8 years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Many scholarship facilities and bank loans are easily available. Even the allumnis kept many scholarships to support students but depending not only on annual income but also on CGPA of the student. Coming to bank loan it's not an issue at all due to the reputation of the institute there is no problem for educational loans
Campus Life :
Sports are greatly supported by the institute, as well as the other extra currics there is a well provided funding. There are many clubs including technical and non technical. Every club is funded irrespective of currics or extra currics.
Alumni/Alumna :
Many allumni programs and mentorships by seniors help the Juniors a lot. Every student is allotted a mentor in the starting of their life in institute which help them in problems or even in personal issues. The mentors are also tested to their quality
Admission :
JEE Advanced known to be the toughest exam for entrance in engineering this has to be qualified to even attend this you have to compete with lakhs of students inorder to clear the JEE Mains. It's not that easy to clear this exam due to heavy competition and toughness. It requires a well strategical preparation for two or more years. To get CSE in my institute, the closing rank is around AIR95 in jee advanced which is not at all easy.
Faculty :
Well experienced and each of them have their own perspective of teaching based on their field of research. They all have their PhD's in good universities and they are accessible to us via intra mails if not we can meet them when they are free. clear doubts and explain every tiny thing if required another time for students and there is 15:1 student faculty ratio in our college.
