Remarks :

College's curriculum is good. faculties are experienced in their respective field. currently iit Goa is running in a temporary campus. negative points is about it's location since it is located at the peak of mountain and we have to walk one km down to bus stop for going anywhere.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is good. first year courses are same for every branch later we got divided into our respective branches. we have one mid sem and one end sem exam comprising of 30 and 50 percent weightge and two quizes of 10 percent.

Placement Experience :

Currently I have no info about placement since our first batch is going to pass out after 3 months. our college provide internships and also funds for your project if it good. i have done one internship of 8 days about designing a car.

College Events :

Cultrang(technical and cultural fest),flock and other small events such as football,cricket match. Apart from this we celebrate mostly all the festivals in our college and organize events for it. We also have events for indoor and mobile/pc games.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's expensive our one semester fee including hostel and academic is approx 1. 3 lakhs. Tuition fee is 1 lakh and hostel mess fee is 25000-30000. since college also provide scholarship student who are not financially good can get scholarships in hostel and mess fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes there is loan facility from the cooperation bank you can apply for loan at the time of admission. Also our college have scholarship criteria for SC, St and other students who can not afford college fees.

Campus Life :

Labs are good but not excellent since college is still developing. ragging is strictly prohibited and there is not a single case of ragging since last four years. the girl to boy ratio is 1:7 in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is good since it is new hostel and only one year old. currently there are two students sharing a room. mess food is OK. Hostel have all the basic facilities like washing machine,common room,indoor games, one basketball court, badminton and volleyball court, and a gym.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. their experience helps a lot in our projects. you can ask for help to any senior you want. They also organize various events and teach whatever they have learned. in our college every student have one senior mentor for help and guidance.

Admission :

Firstly we have to appear in a national level college exam JEE main after clearing it you have to appear in another exam JEE advanced and then according to your performance in exam you are alloted college.

Faculty :

They are highly experienced and humble. You can go for doubt any time during working hours and can also ask for help regarding your projects, internship etc. Apart from academic they also appreciate your effort in other extra curricular activities.

My College review from a Students Perspective

Placement Experience:

The 8th semester students gets eligible for the placements and the placement starts after the first internal exams and most of the companies visiting I like designing site engineers or plant quality engineer in which day higher user training and the average pay is 15000. On an average 12 to 15 companies come in the college for placements for each department and around 70% students gets placed and the remaining I helped by the teachers to get place in the companies which they know or a familiar with.

Review of a average civil engineering student

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester you are eligible for placements by the end of 8th semester companies will be approaching college and jobs will be offered Different companies approach and they take interviews according to how many students enrolled for their company For me different companies like ultra tech and deep builders and assmass construction approached and offered of average of 20 to 25,000 salary as a beginner Highest average package would be around 35,000 and lowest is around 15,000 Around 70 to 85% students gets placement. Rest of the students mostly go for their own business or different private companies My plan after the degree is to continue with my dad's business which is road work/ pwd contractor

Average CTC is about 11LPA. Highest is about 50LPA offered by google. Students are eligible for placements in their final year first semister (7th sem). Students can do 6 month internship in 8th sem and can get PPO. during the summer break students can also do a 2 month internship .

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Short and better review of IIT Goa

Placement Experience:

IIT Goa offers campus placements to its students. Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year of study, i.e., in the 7th or 8th semester. Several reputed companies visit IIT Goa for campus placements, including Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Adani Power, etc. Higher placements offer is of 1.2cr and average placement offers are16-25 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placed during campus placements at IIT Goa is quite high, with around 90% of students getting placed every year. The remaining students generally opt for higher studies or pursue entrepreneurship. In case no campus placement is offered, students can explore other options for employability, such as applying for jobs through job portals, professional networking sites, or by directly contacting companies. They can also consider pursuing higher education or research in their field of interest or starting their own business.

Remarks:

My college has the best infrastructure to provide for its students with workshops, number of laboratories each meant for seperate branches to conduct experiments, community centres, auditoriums, well equiped library and at last the atmosphere that makes me feel that this is the best institution I have ever went to.
