A great college that helped students for achieving their goals and getting successful in life. Also, Good college with a positive and lovely atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and exam structure is relevant, exam pattern includes two sections A and B, in each section there are four questions. We have to attempt a total five questions, two questions from each section and one from anyone section. It is good for a student to achieve good marks in academics and getting placed in good companies. Industrial visits also organized for us at HCL, Chandigarh.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

College Events :

•Many workshops organized in my colleges like Resume making, Deep learning, Personality Development and many more. •Alumni sessions being organized for well addressing the students regarding their future. •The projection which was 24 hours event for making a project, organized in our college. •"Sammillan" Largest Techno cultural fest organised by my college every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is the one paid amount to be paid online at the starting of our year.If online payment is not suitable for anyone or having an issue related to it then one can take their permission from the management team for giving Fees in the form of Demand Draft. It is value for money.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College also provides scholarships to students who got scholarships under the scheme of AICTE having their family income below 6 lakh per annum.

Campus Life :

Approximately 60:40 ratio of boys and girls in the college. There is a positive atmosphere in campus. Ragging is strictly prohibited in campus and Anti-ragging committee is there to stop such activities. Many events in sports are organized like chess competitions, a table tennis match, badminton match, cricket tournament between all departments and many more.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni sessions are organized for briefing the students for doing great in their future like them. Alumni helps juniors for achieving their goals in life.

Admission :

After 12th it was my passion to do engineering and i find electronics and communication as an interesting branch as it includes hardware as well as software also. In hardware connecting wires and designs the circuits give me a pleasant experience. As It is one of the best institutions of our state so i choose to come to this college.

Faculty :

About 15-20 lecturers are provided for teaching us an the average age of them is from 30-40 and all of them are highly qualified with minimum Post graduation. Faculty members always helped us in our course by giving assignments to us. They also explain topics by giving presentation lectures and providing information regarding topics on google Classroom.

An Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

IUST is not as bad as it seems.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage

Life in SMVDU

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is not same every year . I didn't get placement and almost majority students do not get placement of my batch in all streams it's also because of the recession going in our country. But the companies that come here took girls only their focus was to balance girls and boys ratio in their office so companies were taking girls only very few boys were placed . Less than 50% students were palced from my stream. Highest package was of 10 lakhs and 4 students were placed in that company with a contract of 5 years only others were placed at an average package of 5-6 lakhs

• B.e./B.Tech is one the most popular course, i prefer this course with an idea of securing well paid job after completion of this professional degree. Also i was good in mathematics and science from the childhood. • SSM College is a private university with multiple campuses in India. It is known for its large student population and expansive academic programs. However, specific data on the faculty-to-student ratio may vary across different campuses and departments within the university.It can contribute to a better learning experience and individualized support for students. • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. • Use multiple sources of data for each course. • Mid term exams were on time after completing 2 chapters from all subject. It is done before Major exams.It is easy to pass mid term exams as it is of 50 marks and pass marks is just 20
