I'd say average but location too good

  • We can say Average placement is not good

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty and seniors are more cooperative than I thought, they create an environment for every student to learn a few more aspects in their domain. There should be some gap given in the time table, so that there will be less academic stress

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Year-wise fees is 1,41,000 and it is not increasing yearly. their are no category benefits in terms of fees. Scholarships are available if you have got less than 100000 rank in jee mains. In first year's fees, additional charges will be applied along with 1.41 lac of fees, so total fees will be around 1.81 lacs.

Campus Life :

There are many events which happen annually so get admission here and enjoy them with us. Library is something you definitely need to see, it has apprx. 55000 books and journals. We have projectors in every class but no cameras. We get many sport events and fests.

Hostel Facilities :

Basohli hostel will be allotted to first years which I'll say , is good for u. It has rooms for 2 students , there are no single rooms in hostel. Mess is not something I'll recommend, but yeah, atleast food is edible. You can register through samarth portal online and fees is 20000 for a year, and 26000 for mess, total you have to pay 46000 for hostel facility.

Admission :

I didn't apply to any other college, as i got here through Josaa, but i can clearly say that got lucky to get here. Admission process is quite easy , you just have to go to admission cell and things get done there onl.

Faculty :

Faculty is good in terms of teaching and building a healthy relationship with students. There are 2 exams in a semester. Every semester is of 6 months. First exam starts after 1.5 months of starting of semester and second starts after 5 months. As per CSE branch, exams are moderate, neither hard nor easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is not same every year . I didn't get placement and almost majority students do not get placement of my batch in all streams it's also because of the recession going in our country. But the companies that come here took girls only their focus was to balance girls and boys ratio in their office so companies were taking girls only very few boys were placed . Less than 50% students were palced from my stream. Highest package was of 10 lakhs and 4 students were placed in that company with a contract of 5 years only others were placed at an average package of 5-6 lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:

• B.e./B.Tech is one the most popular course, i prefer this course with an idea of securing well paid job after completion of this professional degree. Also i was good in mathematics and science from the childhood. • SSM College is a private university with multiple campuses in India. It is known for its large student population and expansive academic programs. However, specific data on the faculty-to-student ratio may vary across different campuses and departments within the university. It can contribute to a better learning experience and individualized support for students. • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. • Use multiple sources of data for each course. • Mid term exams were on time after completing 2 chapters from all subject. It is done before Major exams. It is easy to pass mid term exams as it is of 50 marks and pass marks is just 20
