Remarks :
Positive - I like the greenery of the college and it is little away from City so no sound comes to our institute.our college has lots of trees in it.And the location is nice.Negative is if you have funds then fix the instruments so that the students can use it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
For my course biotechnology it is easiest subject among all branches.Course curriculum is moderate not too hard that it can't be understand.in a year there are two semesters odd and even semester.In one semester ,one mid term of 30 marks and end semester of 50 marks and remaining class test and all.
Placement Experience :
Placements are 95% chances even if you are from my branch like biotechnology IT companies would recruit us.Or if you are a CS student then you can dream of 18-20 lakh package company would definitely take you even if you have low cg.yes our college provide internship but applicable for some branches only.
College Events :
1.Tech fest - innovision which happen in November starting.It is the biggest technical fest in Odisha.here at day all types of events will be going on and at night dj night and celebrity night is there. 2.Nitrutsav - cultural fest ,one of the biggest cultural fest in Odisha. 3 jashn- final year performance,here final year students of all branches give a dance performance group 4 ethnic fest
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Yes it is feasible.For us it was 65000/- No st sc obc relaxation was there all would have to pay equal amount whatever the fees was.Now it has been changed now fees increased for general and reservation categories have lower fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In our college loan facility is there student loan is given to student.Our college doesn't provide any scholarships.However there are some exams conducted in our college which give schlorship but it's from the Odisha govt not our college provide it.
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are the best part in Nit.There are 60+ clubs in our college ,students are very keen to join these clubs at there 1st yr or sophomore year.After college study time is over then every student is busy in there own clubs.There are 4 societies under which these 60+ clubs falls under.This is under SAC student activity centre.They make every possible thing to success a fest arrangements.Or conducting celebrity night etc.Talking about labs ,in our department some instrument doesn't work at all and no one tries to fix it because it takes lot of money "teachers say this only". However other branches have sufficient instruments in their labs.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes my hostel is good clean.There are two girls hostel in Nit.Everyday workers came and do the cleaning of bathroom ,hall , wash our clothes ,clean our room.Mess food was not upto the mark.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes we have a group of whole department where all our senior ,juniors teachers alumnus are present.They contact there only if anything required.They are really helpful in nature.If anyone had any queries then we asked on that group it is solved soon.
Admission :
There is an entrance exam jee which every student know today.in 2015 when josaa had started choice filling then i had given biotechnology in my 14 th option and other colleges branches above it fortunately I got choosen into this college.Admission process was easy , haasal free fee payment was online or you can cash out at the same place of admission.There all documents were verified and we had been alloted hostel according to it.
Faculty :
There are most experienced teacher that make every possible thing to make children understand and sometimes they became funny too with children.However there are some teachers who are very rude to students but they teach well.
