Remarks :
The teachers are very good cooperative, friendly,particularly electronics and communication engineering.I listened that students are selected for campus, they are getting job in wipro, microsoft, Infosys etc. It has good library, friendly atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good, Subjects are easy and advance technology so that one can compete the world.They are studying Computer science,Electronics Communication,Civil,Mechanical engineering.Course curriculum excellent and there are two internal exam per semester. Exam structure,All BPUT papers have 90 mark of questions. 70 mark compulsory for all , 20 mark additional extra. 3 hours of duration is not mandatory to attempt 70 mark only, you can attempt 90 mark paper if time permit you.At BPUT you will get multiple chances to clear a subject within a regular four year period.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunity is very excellent, They have placed infosys, WIPRo ,Mind tree, Microsoft, semen They are getting good amount of salary.work placements are compulsory in order to get your degree, while on others you can opt to do a placement as one of your modules.
College Events :
All the students are advised to attend the function, participate in different programs, maintain discipline and co-operate the organizers in every respect to make it a grand success.Program mes are AHWAAN-” (Annual Athletic Meet) the end of the programme. “INNOVIZION-” (Tech. Fest) till the end of the programme. ,AKANKSHYA(Cultural Fest)
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure of GITA is quite feasible. Even a student can pay his/her fees in installments. The students used to pay the hostel charges monthly. There is the facility of paying the due by online payment also. Nowadays Wallet services are also available.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college is tied up with Punjab Natonal Bank for providing students with Education Loan. A PNB branch is also available inside the campus for providing the students with necessary options. There is a scholarship cell available inside the campus for helping students with various scholarship available from State Government.
Campus Life :
So many events are celebrated in GITA college like Annual function, Tech Fest, cultural events, debate competition, Quiz competition, inter-college Cricket Tournament, and Football Tournament, Volleyball tournaments, and different sports activities like run, high jump, long jump etc.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college runs under its rules and guidelines. Every year, the good companies like TechMahindra, Amazon, Infosys, MindTree and other 21 companies take at least 20-30 students every year. Good qualities of teaching are given over here by professional faculty members. The teachers and faculty members are very serious regarding their subjects and placements of their of students in good companies. As per views, the freshers were given 30,000 per month in companies like Infosys as they lead the teams having strong aspirations of their projects.
Admission :
Successful completion of +2 Science with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science with a minimum of 45% (Aggregate) in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology /Computer Science is a must. Faculty :
The faculties are friendly. They are making doubt clear, Faculties are going to hostel.They have night duty for clearing the doubt. Faculty have extra curricular activity.i e robotics, hobby club, dance club, Optic lab, Research laboratory,doubt clearing.
