CAT Notification 2024: Eligibility Criteria
CAT Notification 2024 brochure will include the eligibility criteria required for appearing in the examination. To check the eligibility criteria candidates must keep up with the release date of the notification. - Candidates need to complete their bachelor curriculum with 50% (General) and 45% in the case of SC/ST.
- Candidates appearing for their final semester can also register for CAT 2024.
CAT Notification 2024: Reservation
The category-wise percentage of reservation mentioned in CAT 2024 notification are given here:
- 15% of seats are reserved for the SC candidates.
- 7.5% of seats are reserved for the ST candidates.
- 27% of seats are reserved for the OBC candidates belonging to the (NC-OBC).
- 10% of seats are reserved for the economically weaker section candidates.
- 5% reserved seats for the PwD candidates.
Note: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/NC-OBC/EWS/PwD categories must meet the minimum eligibility criteria and level of performance to avail of a seat in the IIM.
CAT Notification 2024: Registration Fee

CAT Notification 2024: Registration Process
Registration window for CAT 2024 is open August 2, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. till September 20, 2024. While registering the candidates can check the step-by-step guide on the registration process here.
Candidates will be allowed to choose six test centers according to their wish starting with the nearest city options available. The registration correction window will be opened after the registration last date to allow registered candidates to edit their details in case they have submitted any wrong information. The same will be notified in the CAT 2024 notification for form correction.
CAT Notification 2024: Score Card
CAT 2024 scorecard is expected to be published in the last week of December or the first week of January 2024. The notification will be released on IIM CAT 2024 website for the same. It should be noted that CAT 2024 Scorecard will be valid only till December 31, 2024.
