It's a government college but our faculty is trying to provide us with internship opportunities. We are having moot courts competition and our teachers take us to court visits like Kolkata high court and even the Supreme Court of India in the last year of our five-year course.
Govt college mainly prepare students for litigation and for judiciary examination. Students after 3 year work under their respective seniors and work according to there goal either they work under an attorney as internship or prepare for judiciary. College here only provides for the courses for the internship and all students need to work hard and need to build connections.
There are not many placements as because most of the students prefer being Advocates or Judges. Some even prefer for Corporate jobs and end up being in good positions. It's all possible of a student is hardworking and yes the students are very much study oriented.
There is campusing. We get offers from different well established law firms. We get placements. We even get opportunities from Entrepreneur Cell in college. The feedback of these companies is also very good.

Yes, I opted for an internship in 2020 and it was a government internship that is West Bengal Legal Service Authority. It was a Non Pain internship.
It is a government college, so faculty members don't work hard to provide placements here. One of the main features is it is affordable. In the profession of a law, a student required the degree mainly so they can practice in court in 5th year. Almost 90% of students get into any kind of internship.
I particularly don't know about placements but if you're aiming for judiciary, the course syllabus is perfect for it. You have to revise the law subjects of every year, to secure handsome marks in the exam
Our college does not provide us with any job opportunities or placements. I have not heard of any alumni or ex students getting job offers from firms and companies placed by our college. There are no alumni networking for job referrals.
No, placements do not take place in our college. But during the last year of the course we have an internship at the high court.
