NUJS was established in 1999 by the Bar Council of India, in conjunction with the government of West Bengal. It is an autonomous law university offering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate students. It is located in the salt lake city of Kolkata. It is considered to be one of the best amongst elite national law schools. The unvirsity offers the students a five year Integrated B.A./B.Sc. The course curriculum of NUJS is updates on a regular basis. Academic department collaborates with the student body in formulating new policies for the university to ensure smooth functioning of examinations and extra-curricular activities.
Course structure of WBNUJS is on par with foreign educational system. Students do not have to face a lot of academic pressure. All the important subjects of law are properly covered in the course of five years.
Course syllabus is usually updated once a year i.e. two semesters. Students concerns regarding academics is taken into consideration while making any change in the same. Faculties are graduates from NUJS itself or foreign law colleges.
The course structure of NUJS is devised in such a manner that students find themselves comfortable in studying tough subjects of law. Scores are given in CGPA format. A student has to study and score good consistently from his/her first year itself cause all the semesters' CGPAs are added up for an net score.
Course curriculum, academics and faculties are exceptional. Everything is regularly updated with suggestions from students through the student body. Professors of NUJS have degrees from top law schools abroad.
Academics is regulated by the Academics department of our university. It is changed and improved with consultation from the student body and the Vice Chancellor. Professors are approachable and friendly. Some of the faculties are graduates from top most universities abroad.
Course curriculum is spread across the five year in a systematic manner. Faculty is great. Many professors have graduated from NUJS itself. Since the Professors are from NUJS, they understand students better than anyone else.
It is one of the top most law school of our country. So I think it is obvious that they will try there best so as to provide us with best faculties. The academics part is one of the factor which makes my university so eminent. There are many faculties that are good. example Lovely Dasgupta, Shameek Sen and many more.
Academics is given preference over any other matter in NUJS. Student body collaborates with the Academic department to ensure students' views regarding the academic pattern are heard. Our faculties are have qualifications from Ivy league institutes of the US.
NUJS provides a good opportunity for students who love law as a study. Faculties are great. Course pattern is approved by the head of our university taking every student grievances into consideration.

No, The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences does not offer three year LLB. The university offers an integrated LLB course. You can check here for the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences Course.
Well, there is no age gap criteria for the students in BA LLB course at NLU Kolkata, so if you have cleared CLAT and have a decent score then you can surely get admission even if you have graduated way before.
The candidate needs to appear for CLAT exam and should acquire a rank around 262 to be eligible for admission to LLB course at NUJS Kolkata.
The BALLB course is offered in honors mode. The first year fee is INR 2.86 lacs. The second, third, fourth and fifth year fees are the same INR 2.62 lacs.

Admission into BA/B.Sc LLB and LLM programmes are based on CLAT scores. While, for M.Phil and PhD, the candidates will have to appear for an entrance test and interview session. How to take admission to ba LLB course?
Admission to the BALLB course is done on the basis of marks secured in the CLAT examination. So you need to appear for the CLAT examination and pass it with valid scores as prescribed by the University for admission.
The new admission schedule has not yet been announced by NUJS Kolkata. It is expected that the admission schedule will be soon released by the University on its official website.
The average fees for BA-LLB at The West Bengal National University Of Juridical Sciences - [NUJS], Kolkata is Rs. 2,31,600 per year for 5 years.
You must have B.Sc. Pass/Hons. with Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Computer Science / B.Sc. LL.B. or any equivalent degree with minimum of 50% marks.The duration for the course M.
