Remarks :
It's a government college under Calcutta university. So the application fees was not much there is a common entrance from which covers all the colleges under the Calcutta university including the private ones
Course Curriculum Overview :
I pursued this course because I always wanted to see myself being a person who can help the poor and this law profession gives enormous opportunities for this and you can become a philanthropist The faculty is great all teachers are experienced and listen to our queries and doubts. They cooperate with us. The exams are held every six months. There are 10 semesters and if one wants to get the honors ballb degree they need to perform well in the first and second year respectively and among them, the best 15 students will get the honors seat
Internships Opportunities :
It's a government college but our faculty is trying to provide us with internship opportunities. We are having moot courts competition and our teachers take us to court visits like Kolkata high court and even the Supreme Court of India in the last year of our five-year course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is very flexible that is 15 k per year . Number of students opt for scholarship which includes kanya shree scholarship for girls And two different kind is scholarship for SC st student
Campus Life :
There is no annual fest but Saraswati puja is celebrated in a very enthusiastic manner. There is a student library with all the books available but unfortunately, due to COVID there are restrictions and we are not allowed The classroom is of big size and well ventilated with projectors. There are several cultural clubs for students interested in extracurricular activities.
