We needed to appear for an Entrance exam organized by CU known as CULET or Calcutta University Law Entrance Test, after which we get our results after 1 or 1.5 months and then as per our marks and ranks, we sit for counseling provided by the University and choose Colleges accordingly.
I went through a CUCET 2019 firstly. You'll probably get allotted to a bunch of colleges through online counselling later as per your rank in the entrance. There are 3-4 counselling rounds. After counselling, you have to report to the allotted college where they will check your documents and will declare whether you are likely to get admitted over there or not. Eligibility for CUCET: 55% aggregate in 12th (any stream). Must be 17 years of age or above.
You can check here to see what types of facilities provides.
