They take charge of 3 sections each. So, total of 5 teachers for 150 teachers. I wouldn't name them but a lot of faculties are very good and keeps you engaged. You will get Atleast one in every semester. Some of them are opposite too but every semester the roster changes so no proff teaches for a complete academic year and thus, even if there is a proff you don't like, they will get replaced every semester. This is not a deemed university so Chaudhary Charan Singh University conducts one exam each semester. There are 2 college internals to help you prepare for these exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course has been designed by CCS but I have to say the design of course if not that good and its arbitrary in many aspects. Our college professors to make changes to it every now and then to make it more comprehensive for all. There is a major scope of improvement from university. Exams are conducted during Summers mostly may-july and winters, usually between December to January. Exams are not hard but the checking is strict thus getting 60% is no worse than 85-90% in any other law College.

Overall faculty is average. They are helpful and kind towards students but only a few faculty are able to properly teach their respective subjects. Their teaching is not too bad and not too great, mostly the senior most faculty is only able to teach properly. We have 10 marks viva and 10 marks written paper for internal examination. These marks are given by respective subject teachers After the end of our semester and one month preparatory leave we give 80 marks external paper. This is checked by university teachers and is rotated randomly every semester

Campus Life:

College fest is very average. The college gives very less fund and even in that the typical marathis who compromise organising committee keep the fund for themselves. My school fests were better than this college fest. They don't even call celebrities or singers anymore. College has many cells who function very well. Most of the cells are based on various subjects of law that help us enhance our knowledge Extracurricular activities is unorganised and pretty average. Connection is more important than skills if you want to participate in any sport

Faculty:

Talking about faculty, they are too friendly to students and are very helpful in all the courses. I would try to avoid the mentioning the name of the faculties but I can make sure that all of them are too good. There are very less or no faculty to dislike. Talking about exam, we had 80/20 exam pattern in which we have 80 marks external exams and 20 marks internal exams, including 10 marks of written exam and 10 marks of Viva. But currently, the exam pattrn is 70/30, in which, we have 70 marks external exam and 30 marks internals, which includes 10 marks for vivas, 10 marks for written exam and 10 marks for class presentations. The above mentioned exam is Semester based.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about curriculum, it is pretty good. It try to prepare students in all aspects. College organises different activities like Moot Court Competitions, TAC Competition, Negotiation Competition, Client Counseling Competition, Mediation Competition. These all helps a student in understanding the practical field as well, apart from the educational aspects. Area of improvement:- There are few activities, which are based on limited slots and first come first serve basis. I feel, it restricts several students from getting those experiences in those fields. Exams are not too difficult is one prepares for it. College also provides 1 month PL for exams.

Campus Life:

There are different festivals that are organised by different departments in te university campus but the biggest of them is Chirgish organised by Department of Management Studies which includes stalls from local entrepreneurs giving them a path to grow. These festivals are typically held in the second half of the year. The range and accessibility of books in our University is brilliant as it houses a 9- floor Allam Iqbal Library which is among the biggest libraries in Asia. This library contains books from all subjects and genres and to make it convenient for students, they can find where the particular book is located on the university website. The technological facilities is one of the aspect where the university lags behind even though it is working tirelessly to facilitate students with every technological provision but it still has a long way to go. The scope for sports and extracurricular activities is good in the university but a person has to be very active to know when and where something is happening. Many a times it happens that some event is taking place and most of the students don' t even know about it. The university boasts of 4-5 big grounds where all kinds of outdoor sports can be played along with a volleyball, basketball and badminton court. There are different social groups such as book clubs and NGOs formed by students for a particular cause and all the students are welcome to join these.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are very important subjects and topics in our course like Political Science where we were taught about Plato and Aristotle in detail which is very necessary and helps in building ideas and opinions in ones mind. But there are also certain topics and maybe even subjects which don't have any relevance to our profession of law. For example, even if Sociology is relevant to some extent, the practical methods of doing sociological research shouldn't be a part of the curriculum as it has no relevance. The curriculum in whole prepares us well for the real world experience as there are a number of compulsory moot courts, court diaries, internships etc. which are part of the curriculum and ready us for the outside world. The syllabus of our course has been changed recently and I think it is a welcome step as certain additions and ommissions have made the course more relevant. The marks for a single subject are distributed in 80 marks for the written exam at the end of the semester and 20 marks for internal exams. The internal exams then may be conducted various times and the marks be distributed but it depends on the teacher who has the discretion. The written exam happens every 6 months and the difficulty level is very easy.

If you're enrolling in 5 years long B.A.LL.B course then forget about getting proper education on B.A subjects . Teachers are not upto the mark and at times you'll feel like wasting your time attending classes . Many a times students don't attend their lectures due to this reason . However, law teachers are good and knowledgeable. They teach you B.A subjects for straight 2 years so 2 years might feel like a waste if you're not making efforts by yourself . Hence , I'd advice you to join an NGO in the first sem and law firms in subsequent semester to avoid wastage of time . Also , there's no mid sem exam . It's just internals (which the college doesn't take very seriously) and end sem exam which is pretty easy so you can even do year long internship.

Campus Life:

They've recently changed the infrastructure of the college. So , it looks good now but the washroom condition is still bad . Campus life exist outside of campus because you'll hardly find anyone attending classes religiously and with enthusiasm. Students come to college and prefer to sit in the canteen with their friends rather attending the classes. So , if you prefer that, it's good for you. Committees are not active here so you'd seldom meet your seniors. Seniors who can actually be helpful don't attend lectures too and busy in doing internships.

Ques. Is Asian LAW College Noida a good choice for a five-year law degree?

● Top Answer By Anuradha Dixit on 07 Sept 21

Ans. Asian Law College Noida is not that well-known. It is a 3rd tier private law college. Asian Law College also has a hefty fee structure. You should try other colleges such as BVP and IPU instead of Asian Law College. You can even apply for Lloyd or Nirma as they are better-known law institutions than Asian Law College, Noida. Asian Law College is a well-known law college, so you should try to find a better alternative. Read more

Ques. What is the scope of BA LLB through Lucknow university?

● Top Answer By Arnav Dasgupta on 04 Oct 21

Ans. BA LLB is the study of law with few subjects of arts related to legal study. If you want to become a renowned lawyer then you have to implement your knowledge in practical situations. The faculty at Lucknow University is good but it’s best if you make a habit of learning things on your own. It’s better not to expect much from the professors.  The campus and library is huge. You can certainly use that to your advantage.  If you want good career opoortunities, start acquiring practical experience. It’s best if you can intern for a lawyear. Learn to draft, work on your English, Hindi and communication skills. If you don’t understand few things here and there you can rely on technology.  Lucknow University is a good institute for a BA LLB, but you will have to make the most of your time there.Read more

Ques. Is Allahabad University best for a BA LLB?

● Top Answer By Aditi Roy on 02 May 23

Ans. Allahabad University is a good option for pursuing BA LLB, and here are some points that can help you make an informed decision: Allahabad University has a good law faculty, which means you will be able to receive a quality education from experienced professors. The fee structure of the university is reasonable, which is an advantage for students who want to pursue higher education without the burden of heavy fees. The campus of Allahabad University is known for its peaceful and serene surroundings, which can provide a good environment for studying and learning. The law faculty of the university is quite active in student politics, so if you are interested in politics, then you may find this aspect of the university appealing. The high court is located in Allahabad, which provides an advantage for law students who are looking for internship opportunities. The university also offers internships and placement opportunities, which can help you gain practical experience and prepare for a career in law. However, it is important to note that Allahabad University may not be the best option if you are looking for the absolute best law school in India, as there are other top-ranked law schools in the country that may offer better opportunities and resources. In summary, if you are looking for a good law school with experienced faculty, a reasonable fee structure, and a peaceful environment, then Allahabad University can be a good option for pursuing BA LLB.Read more

Ques. Which is better for a BA LLB: Jamia or AMU?

● Top Answer By Bidita Ghose on 19 Apr 23

Ans. Both Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University are well-known institutions that offer BA LLB programs. Both institutions have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and the choice ultimately depends on your personal preferences and requirements. Here are some points to consider while making your decision: Campus and Location: Jamia Millia Islamia is located in Delhi while Aligarh Muslim University is located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Delhi is a larger city and offers more opportunities for internships and placements, while Aligarh is a smaller town with a more relaxed pace of life. Rankings: Both Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University are ranked among the top law schools in India. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Jamia is ranked 8th among law colleges in India, while Aligarh is ranked 9th. Faculty: Both institutions have experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. It is important to research the faculty members and their areas of expertise before making a decision. Curriculum: The curriculum for BA LLB at both institutions is likely to be similar, but it is important to check for any differences in the courses offered, as well as the flexibility and opportunities for specialization. Infrastructure and Facilities: You may want to consider the infrastructure and facilities available at both institutions, including libraries, moot court halls, computer labs, hostels, and sports facilities. Alumni Network and Placements: It is important to research the alumni network and placements offered by both institutions. Look for information on the companies and law firms that regularly recruit from the institutions, as well as the salary packages offered.Read more

Ques. Is it worth spending around 12 lakhs for BALLB in Nirma University?

● Top Answer By Akansha Bajaj on 15 May 21

Ans. The answer depends on you entirely. You can give Nirma University a slip if you are getting offers from NLUs. But if you are not getting the top NLUs, Nirma University is one of the best private universities out there. Nirma University promises to give the students better placements than some of the lower-tier NLUs. Nirma University is high on discipline and most of its students dislike this about the university. What you should remember is that there is not much difference between how much you will pay if you end up studying in an NLU, and how much you will pay if you study at Nirma University in five years.  Nirma University is not as popular in the area of law as the top-tier NLUs even though it is pretty popular if we consider private institutes. If you have the skills and knowledge appropriate for placement, you will be placed at Nirma University. But getting good placements depends a lot on how much effort you put in.  If you work hard, 12 lakhs will definitely be worth it.Read more

Ques. How much marks in AILET assures you a seat(Gen) in NLU Delhi for BALLB?

● Top Answer By Ankit Agrawal on 05 Apr 23

Ans.  NLU Delhi conducts the AILET for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs, including the BA LLB program. The AILET exam is highly competitive, and the cutoff marks vary from year to year, depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the availability of seats. It is difficult to predict a specific score that would guarantee admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LLB program, as the cutoff marks may vary from year to year. However, based on past trends and previous year's cutoffs, a general idea of the cutoff marks can be obtained. Here are the cutoff marks for AILET for the past three years for General Category AILET 2021: 72 marks out of 150 marks AILET 2020: 86 marks out of 150 marks  AILET 2019: 72 marks out of 150 marks It's important to note that these are just the cutoff marks and meeting them does not guarantee a seat in NLU Delhi. Admission is also based on other factors like the availability of seats, reservation policy, and performance in the interview round (if applicable). So, while no fixed score guarantees admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LLB program, aiming to score around 80-90 marks or above out of 150 marks in AILET exam would significantly increase your chances of getting a seat. However, it is always advisable to aim for the highest possible score and perform well in the interview round to maximize your chances of getting admission into NLU Delhi.Read more

It was established only 2 years before NLUJ, but it has a better alumni base. It also enjoys a locational advantage, as it is located in the same city as National Judicial Academy.  NLU Jodhpur has more rigorous academics and a better faculty pool. As per the recent NLU J placement statistics, it offers better salary packages to the students. It is also better in terms of Moot performance.
