NIFT Counselling 2024 is ongoing for the allocation of seats for admission to B.Des, B.F.Tech, and M.F.M at NIFT Patna. The online registration for the Spot Round of NIFT Counselling 2024 is scheduled from July 21 to July 23, 2024 (12:00 Midnight). The choice filling and locking for the Spot Round Admission is from July 21 to July 25, 2024 (12:00 Midnight). Candidates can register and fill in their choices online @ nift.admissions.nic.in. The Spot Round Seat Allotment Result for NIFT Counselling 2024 will be released on July 27, 2024.

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna was established in 2008. It is a public institute which impart education in Fashion Design, Management and Technology streams.
At present, NIFT Patna offers B.Des and Bachelor of Fashion Technology courses at UG level and Master of Fashion Management at PG level. The institute also offers a 1 year Certificate programme in Fashion & Clothing Technology.
- Candidates applying for UG and Certificate courses must have passed 10+2.
- The basic requirement for PG course is a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
- For B.Des. course, candidates must be maximum of 23 years in age. There is no such age limit for PG course.
- SC/ST/PWD candidates are given 5% relaxation in terms of age limit for B.Des. course
- Admissions to all the courses are based on NIFT Patna Entrance Exam.
- Candidates need to qualify a written test comprising of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test for taking admission in B.Des. course.
- Admission to B.F.Tech is based on the score obtained in GAT exam only.
- For MFM, candidates have to appear in the GAT exam followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
