- For B.Des course the selection procedure is based on the written examination which comprises CAT and GAT followed by Situation test.

- It’s important for the candidate to go through all the guidelines properly before filling the application form. One can download institute prospectus from the website of the college.
- Candidates must enter the personal information like name, DOB, contact number and so on in a proper manner.
- One can pay application fees either through payment gateway online or bank demand draft (in favour of only “NIFT HO”)

Entrance exam based addmission. The eligibility is 18-24 years . All the details are available in nift.ac.in website. The entrance exam is held once a year in 2 phases. The first phase is CAT (50% weightage) and GAT (30% weightage). If you pass the above combined test , you have to appear for situation test which is basically material handling (20% weightage). Practice as much drawing as you can .

I had applied for Microbiology at SRM Chennai, DU, and Saraswati Vidyapeeth for the same. But I have always wanted to go for something different and my love and skills for art and travel got me landed at NIFT Bhubaneswar. I had enrolled myself in Fashion Communication because of the vast opportunities it had to offer. Fashion Communication is an integrated course of multiple courses ultimately leading up to teach us how to put up a brand and how to execute its advertising and branding so well that it excels out in the market for the public good. The first year is the mixture of all courses and all the students study together in different sections regardless of their departments. The main department course study begins in the second year. The college provides endless opportunities to grow and not just in academics but as a person and it also prepares the students for the industry they're going to work into. The college provides internship programs and placements as well for the students.

It's the world's 7th greatest school for fashion designers and my passion for designs is a reason. It happened in May 2019 got in one the rank of 5010 so I had to wait for my counseling on 19th soo I did and got into Bhubaneswar where there was only a seat for nift and I only used nift website to check results. It was a confusing process because of the corona situation

They offered Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology degree in UG course and Master of Fashion Management in PG course. In B.Des course has four Departments which are Fashion Design, Textile Design, Accessories Design and Fashion Communication. One needs to clear the NIFT Entrance Examination and secure a good rank to take admission in NIFT. The entrance exam is normally held in mid-January and the situation test held in March. Then after good rankers get a call for counseling. Bhubaneswar Campus is located within the area of KIIT campus. Bhubaneswar is a good city with lots of accommodations and food nearby. With lots of facilities Within the campus, there is also greenery everywhere. They celebrate lots of festival events here. Even They have a good record of placement which is absolutely good reason for choosing the Bhubneshwar campus over others

Faculty members are just fine. Our batch was lucky enough to get guest faculty members from other NIFT centres to teach and we got to learn from inhouse and outside also.
