- Infrastructure needs some development like wall graffiti, painting of building etc
- Work stress is too much . Most of the time students have to overwork
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is as per the trends and the relevance in the current world senario. Nift comes with lots of patience and perseverance as the course demands. Teaching method us good and follows the trend forcast . The semester exams are called jury which happence twice a year and checks your real capability in this diverse and unique field
Internships Opportunities :
The best thing about this campus is students can do internship here even after 1st semester. The official internships starts from 3rd year and stipend is quite good like 5-10k per month in reputed company.
Placement Experience :
Mostly students opt for master degree after the college. The placement in bhubaneswar campus is good . In 2022-23, the hightest package on-campus placement was 19 Lpa and off-campus placement was 22 Lpa. Average package was about 7 Lpa . The Avind groups recruited highest no. of employees from bhubaneswar campus. From 5th semester the students become eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for company placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total course fees is Rs. 13,42,200 as per the 2023-24 fee circular. Hostel and mess charges are excluded. Apart from that material cost in nift is quite expensive. There are 2 scholarships which caters to the excellent students having economic crisis. The Sarthak scholarship for the nift students and the Udaan scholarship for foreign exchange nift students pursuing education internationally to get dual dress. The college has a good rank in terms of placements
Campus Life :
There are several fest of NIFT, one being a inter-nift competition called The Converge, where all the participants from different nift campus come together and have a annual competition. Individual nift campuses have their own annual fest called The Spectrum which happens in feb-mar. The library here is good and the tech facility is also good
Admission :
Entrance exam based addmission. The eligibility is 18-24 years . All the details are available in nift.ac.in website. The entrance exam is held once a year in 2 phases. The first phase is CAT (50% weightage) and GAT (30% weightage). If you pass the above combined test , you have to appear for situation test which is basically material handling (20% weightage). Practice as much drawing as you can .
