- 8 semesters.consisting 6 to 8 theory paper and additional practical papers and a project in the lat Semester.The curriculum having Industrial visits and internships.And those things make a beter engineering student.An make better Industrial experience.
- There are different internships offered by the college itself the most attractive one is from Bosch REXROTH center inside the campus.the stipend varies according to duration and context of the internship and they pay well.incubation center and satellite center is great and growth oriented.

- The infrastructure.The college was built in 1939.Our new campus was built in 50 years ago.So it is very old and never maintained properly

Course Curriculum Overview:
The college is under the APJAKTU.The syllabus is very good.They have enough theory and practical courses.They gave one year seperately for project.During initial days,They didn't provide the gap for internship.but,now there is 1.5 months leave for internships and students can take whole semester for internship without break of study.

- CET College of engineering Trivandrum is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
- CET provides the best placements in Kerala.
Dislikes
- The college deals with a issue of stray dogs there is way too much stray dogs around the campus
- The campus is not as big as listed in Google it is only about 20 acres where Asin Google it said there is more than 100 acres

Electrical engineering is one of the best courses that you could take for the future. Electrical engineering can never be replaced by any other field so it is always relevant it has also one of the best placements here in CET. The only issue regarding this course is the difficulty level you have to learn a lot of stuff

But teaching method encourages you to self learn concepts in engineering The semester wxams are easy to moderate. And is conducted and evaluated by KTU

- The second thing i liked is the hostel facility . The rooms and foods are best .

- The one thing i dislike is the timing of the college because its still not 24 hour campus.

I had an interest in the field of electrical engineering. Also, the scope of electrical engineering is increasing. Most of the premium institutions offer higher education options for the same course. Though CS, IT, and ETC are in demand now (whereas rarely anybody going to EE) they are given handsome salaries now, but one day will come when these branches will be saturated and automatically the opportunities will decrease but EE is the branch which will neither go too high nor too low, but enough to provide job.
