BTech in Industrial Engineering is a four-year graduate course that imparts crucial knowledge about manufacturing and designing processes of various industrial machinery and tools. The course consists of 8 semesters spanning four years and an internship opportunity to solidify the learning process of the course program.

Campus Life:

The campus life in CET is something you will never get from any colleges in India. CET is a very technically, culturally and politically active college which hosts many cultural and technical programs throughout the year. CET has primarily 3 Main programs ie, DISHA- an interdepartment festival for First years so they can Icebreak and get along with each other well. DRISHTI - The annual tech fest which hosts many competitions and programs along with pro shows. DHWANI- The annual cultural fest of our college. CET is the only government college in Kerala that hosts separate Technical and Cultural fest like in IITs and NITs. Classrooms are occupied with projectors and speakers and also have very good seating facilities. Sports and Games are very well in the college and we have College teams for most of the games. Every evening the ground will be filled by groups of students doing their physical activities and games Unlike other universities our college is very politically active.

Placement Experience:

Placements in CET is pretty neat. And will be varied according to the tides in the corporate world. Students can sit for on-campus placement by the end of the Sixth Semester.Off campus have no restrictions. There is a dedicated Career Guidance and Placement Unit in our college which works solely for the placements of the students. In 2020-2021 CET had a record placement of 650+ offers from 100+ Companies. Even during the global job crisis times we had around 400 offers from 50+ companies Companies like Amazon,IBM,CRED,CISCO,TISMO,Texas Instruments,Air India,MRF,L&T,Royal Enfield, Hundai,Microchip, SHOBHA Developers,Saint Gobaintec and many other companies has came for placements this year. Around 60% students are placed this year even though the placement is less in all colleges across India. The highest package for this year is 33 lakh for Texas Instruments and average package is around 4 Lakh to 5 Lakh.

Till now i had peaceful campus life. we can two big fests Spring fest and kshitij , where SF is our SOCULT fest and KTJ is our TECH fest . They occur in the month of january every year. Most of the colleges participate and earn price money. we have biggest library in our college which is biggest in asia and we have lots of books and digital library . We have big ground to play oudoor games and lots of socities wherre we interact and improve personality development . we have GC and Interiit where we showcase our talents in huge scale

We have two annual fest one is SF and other tech fest is KTJ. SF is the biggest SOCULT fest and KTJ is the Tech fest of IIT kharagpur . we have biggest library in the asia where all the resources can be accessed and digital library to access the new updates. We have good digital labs for real time projects , we have 20+ societies to learn personality development and many clubs, cells and we have General championship in all fields , we have biggest ground for sports .

IIT kharagpur have good placement comparing the other colleges , CDC conducts the Internships and placements, Any student who study last year of their curriculum can participate in the placements. Highest package is around 2 cr and average package is around 17 lakhs. 70 percent of student got placement last year those who got interns they get ppo's in that company. i want to get IT job in the MNC

As I mentioned earlier IIT Kharagpur provides all-round development. We have 20+ societies, clubs, and Cells where we can learn speaking skills, and leadership qualities and can exhale in the fast-growing world with the exposure. Spring Fest is our Annual SOCULT fest and KHSITIJ is the TECH Fest of our IIT Kharagpur which is one of the largest fests in India. We have Asia's largest library with lots of books, with collection of old and new versions, and a digital library to access the new stuff. We have SHAURYA the sports fest, General Championship in every area to improve our sportiveness and passion in those fields. All the Clubs, Societies, and Cells are run by student body itself.

We have Btech, Dual degree, PhD students in our college where they participate in placements in their final year. IIT KHARAGPUR review.

Being one of the top institutes of India, IIT KHARAGPUR has great placements. The final year students are eligible for campus placements. Huge companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon offer packages of 40-60LPA . And the average package is around 15-18LPA. I have similar plans after getting my degree.

We have two annual fests. Kshitij and Spring fest which are our tech and cultural fests respectively. The libraries are filled with resources of both physics and e-sources. There are many extra curricular activities and societies , clubs, cells which are run by students like Debating Society etc.

IIT in a nutshell

The course covers basics of all engineering fields and this was the best course I wa getting for my marks The faculty to student ratio is pretty decent for proper understanding and doubt clearance All of the faculty members are doctorate or master certified who pursuing their doctorates All exams were timely and even studying one week before the exam after paying attention in class is enough for good grades

The fees structure here is affordable compared to any other private institutions. IIT Kharagpur is known for its internship opportunities provided in the third year I still haven't received any internship opportunities as I am still a fresher here

Name of tech fest is kshitij and annual fest is spring fest both occur in Jan month.Libraries are really good ,all important books are available. Classrooms are really clean they have a pleasant atmosphere to study.There are so much socities and sports are in campus to explore.Awaaz,SWG etc groups are run by students.

I have chosen this course because it has various opportunities in field of economy,management and industry.Faculty student ratio is 6:1. All faculties are PhD holder and they have research experience.Their teaching skills are really great.Exam Difficulty is standard and in 4 months 1 midsem and 1 endsem happened.

Internship opportunities in our college are excellent. All the top companies here offer internships. Internships are offered based on various roles such as software ,quant ,consulting, finance etc and stipends are generally lucrative. The projects needed to be undertaken are generally clarified by the Career development center(CDC).

Campus life is excellent.We have numerous clubs and societies. Our techno management fest Kshitij,held in the month of January, is the largest in Asia.Our cultural fest called spring fest is also held in January.In addition there are several sports,cultural competitions,both within the college and also inter IIT.

this course which is Industrial and System Engineering is very good in my eyes. maybe only in this IIT, this course is getting a good amount of attention and also this is a semi-circuital branch which opens us to almost every company as much as they open to the computer science branch and the load is very less so you can polish your other software skills i don't have any idea of the student-faculty ratio but trust me you won't have an issue there are enough members to pay attention to you in IITs, professors have full knowledge but the teaching method suits you or not it depends on the student so bear with it if it does not and with time it will improve with you in a year there are two semesters and i an a semester there will be two exams a mid-sem examination and an end-sem examination tha=ey are not that tough and for the preparation you won't have to study as much we do for the entrance examination JEE ADVANCED

Spring Fest commonly mentioned as SF is the annual fest of IITKGP which happens during January and in the same month Khitij happens which is our tech fest the library is filled with useful books and over 75 years our seniors have requested enough books so I don't think you will need some other that's not in the library if you do have that then you can just request it we have projectors in the classroom which is connected to the computer at the front so the professor can interact with us using that almost every sport is available and extra activities such as music, dancing, and fine arts are also here yoga NCC here there is a very popular group which is a cell known as E-cell entrepreneurship cell and there are several other societies

MIT THE DREAM TO BE EXPERIENCED

Fees written on the manipal.edu website are for a batch(2023-2027). The fees mentioned for Industrial Engineering is 13,10,000 Indian Rupees then for the 4-year course, you will pay 13,10,000 only, not more than that. Also for the next batch (say 2024-2028), the fee structure will be different. There are three scholarships for the BTech program namely Freeship, Scholar, and Achiever scholarship. Students studying at MIT Manipal are eligible for education loans from Axis Bank and Canara Bank(under Canara Bank Vidya Turant Scheme) I am a student of 1st year so I haven't got any job or stipend.

The Annual Fest of MIT Manipal is known as Revels which is held in March every year and Tech Fest is known as Techtatva which is held in October every year. There are more than 1,10,000 books in MIT Manipal Library, all the academic-related books are available. There are intercollege and intracollege sports activities for almost all the sports in MIT Manipal. There are lots of clubs like Mafia Music and Fine Arts, Aanina etc. There are even student projects like Project Manas, Formula Manipal, Moto Manipal, etc.

IIT KHARAGPUR-A great place to spend 4 years of your life.

The annual fest conducted in the month of January is Spring Fest and the Tech Fest is Kshitij. IIT Kharagpur has one of the largest libraries in India. You can find any book of any genre in the library. Classes are conducted in the Nalanda complex which is fully air-conditioned, large in size, and can accommodate almost 300 students. Many societies/clubs are there on our campus like pravah, encore, tfps, alumni cell, etc.

The fee structure is a little bit costly. For an annual year, you have to pay approximately 2,70,000 rupees including all the things like mess fees, examination fees, etc. You can avail of many scholarships which are available. Right now I'm in 3rd year. I have got a software development intern at Amazon.

College of Engineering Trivandrum

There are many fests conducted in the college both technical called Dhriti and cultural called Dhwani. Many other programs by clubs like Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell, Aerocet, Film and literary clubs, Cetalks, etc. These are all clubs aiming to nurture different interests in students like Entrepreneurship, astronomy, films, literature, talk shows, etc. There are one or two programs almost every month. There is a central library which has all the required books. The college also has a physical education department and various indoor and outdoor games and completions are organized both for boys and girls.

The annual fee at my college is Rs 8950. The government also provides scholarships such as Egrantz which covers almost all the cost. There is internship assistance in the college under the Career Guidance and Placement Unit. Internship information will be given by this unit. They also help with mini and major projects. Many students have been placed in firms like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch, Texas Instruments, and so on.

CET-A look back to the 4 years

The course curriculum is a unique and relevant one which embeds the core subjects from Mechanical Engineering as well as Management studies which can prove to be really helpful for MBA enthusiasts such as myself. The first 2 years of the course focus mainly on Mechanical engineering subjects and gives the student a firm understanding of the theoretical as well as practical sides of machines. Starting from 3rd year, we are offered electives and core subjects in Business studies and Financial Management as well as various Project management subjects. In the final year, there is an embedment of IT subjects and programming languages like R and Python are also offered along with the subject Data Analysis. This was really helpful in my case as I got a job in the IT sector during my final year placements and learning this subject will really help me in my future career.Regarding the Faculties, CET is filled with highly experienced and qualified professors and teachers who are the topmost talents in the State as well as proficient in their field of teaching. The attitude of every professor is very positive and will provide their whole-hearted efforts for any concern faced by the students. Our department in general has some of the most unique and oldest professors in the college since it is the oldest department in the college. Faculties in CET are remarkable in their way of teaching and approach to their subjects. I highly endorse in the skills that can be woven by a student by enrolling in this program.

Life at the campus is the embodiment of excitement and learning at its peak. The students are from various districts across the state and interaction with each and every one of them in unique in its own way. The campus is rich in politics and the students can experience a taste of real world politics and election procedures every year at CET. Annually there is a cultural and technical fest conducted here named DHWANI and DHRISTI. Both of them are the most anticipated events every year by students across all colleges in the state. The hype leading up to them is justified by the fact that it one of the biggest festivals in the whole of Kerala and offers a wide display of cultural and technical events for students to participate in. Classrooms offer all the necessary amenities for students with the inclusion of projectors for embedding presentations and videos into the lectures by professors. There are a multitude of clubs offered in the campus from the moment we join into 1st year. Whatever may be the interest of a student, there is a club present for that. These social and technical clubs help to ignite and boost the underlying skills and talents and passions for every student.

Placement cell is very active and performative. Every year above 90% of students get placed. My branch have 100% placement record from last few years. Tech giants as Google, Microsoft, Amazon visits iit kgp every year and recruit good number of students with higher packages. My branch have average package of 14lpa and lowest package of 11lpa. Highest package of 29 lpa. Few students prefer further studies

Remarks:

One of the most prestigious Institute of India. And I loved the coarse curriculum of Industrial and system engineering. It is morely dealing with supply chain and system management. It also contain interesting subjects like machine learning and data science. My college campus is very good in terms of infrastructure. And faculties and facilities are excellent.
