The most i liked about our college is the placements.Here almost 90% of students are getting placement.
The second thing i liked is the hostel facility . The rooms and foods are best .

The one thing i dislike is the timing of the college because its still not 24 hour campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is well equipped with labs and other facilities for a student to work in college. And the campus is open 9am to 9pm which helps students to avail the facilities throughout the day and effectively. The course curriculum was designed in such a way that it teaches starting from basics to advanced level so that each and every student can follow. And in turn it effectively mould students to deal with real world scenarios and application. There are so many clubs and workshops where students can work on real world problems and showcase their talent!

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship oppertunity i got is from the company called bosch. It is a 4 month internship with a stipend 20000 per month. There are many other internship offered companies . Bosch , tata elxsi, tcs ,visteon ect . stipend offered by these companies varies according to the companies . minimum stipend amount got is 15000.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Many companies are visiting our college for placements. Some of the companies are texas instruments , bosch , tcs ,etc. Highest package is offered by texas and it is 35 lpa. average package is around 4 lpa. In the previous year almost 90 percentage students got placements. After the degree my plan is to go for the job which i got from the placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for the course is 8000/Year since it is a government organisation. This include all the tuition and exam fee The hostel fee can go on an average of 4000/Month which can vary on different months and the average is 4000 so it add upto 48000/Yr The complete cost of our education will add nearty 2.5Lakhs for 4 Years.

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty good . Here our campus is running from 8 in the morning to 9pm . And our college is planning to extend our college time to 24 hr. We have 2 annual fest here .One is technical fest called drishti and other one is the cultural fest dhwani.These both fests are prestige of our college. There is a main Library and each department have their own library facilities. Almost every technical books are available in these libraries. On our classroom there are projecters and wifi facilities available. Our college conducts annual sports meet every year and give support to extra curricular activities there are cultural competition too every year . There are many student running social groups called nss, h20 etc . These clubs helps to get socially involve in the society .

Hostel Facilities :

I am staying in the college hostel. Each room accommodate 2 person . and each person will get a cupboard and a table. and there are 2 bed. In our hostel mess we get variety of food items . There is food 4 times a day . meal quality is very good . mostly food are southern dishes Registration process for hostel is very simple and it is affordable. Monthly an average of 4000 rupees is for food and accommodation.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

The admission process to this course BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is through the entrance exam KEAM and a rank of less than 1200 will be apt for the course if you are from General Category. The Eligibility of the course is qualifying KEAM entrance exam and a good score in 12th for physics, chemistry and mathematics.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
