Course Curriculum Overview :

The university is APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The course EEE is always relevant and is a versatile branch. The curriculum encourages bookish type of learning. But teaching method encourages you to self learn concepts in engineering The semester wxams are easy to moderate. And is conducted and evaluated by KTU

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Texas Instruments, Unacademy, Tata Elxsi, Visteon, Bosch, Saint Gobain, Daimler Trucks, IBM, Thoughtspot, etc These were companies athat offered placement and in thev4rth year they had to do tge internship I dont know about the projects and stuff that they offer.

Placement Experience :

Students sit for placements in 4rth year. Around 100-200 companies visit our college inclyding top companies like Texas Instruments, Schneider, Microchip. Highest- 32LPA Average- 5LPA In EEE around 90% students were placed last year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee in an year is only less than 25K because it is a government college. If you have reservation based on income or caste, you can apply for various privaye and govt scholarships and that reduces tge tution and hostel fee even more. Hostel fee is seperate and amounts to less than 40k per year

Campus Life :

The college stands top when in comes to extra curriculars. A handful of clubs purely run by students, a library with good book collection and sports complex with ample facilities. Cultural fest Dhwani, Tech fest Drishti and Freshers fest Disha

Hostel Facilities :

The room rent is just 100 per month. Facilities includes 4 sharing rooms with 4 tables, 2 cupbaords with 2 subsections. Mess Food is afforadable and average. Applications glcan be given in hostel office and allotment based on home town distance and income is made for admissions

Hostel Fee : INR 38000 per year

Admission through KEAM Eligibility of exam: Keralite, 12th passed students The cutoff depends on the branch and college Website CEE Kerala The exam is easy to moderate CBT based Takes place once in an year.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
