Nehru College of engineering thrissur in a nutshell

Likes

The ambience of the college is pretty good
Very much professional teachers and faculties
For CSE the male to female ratio is almost the same but for Mechanics and mechatronics female students are very less and in ece there are lots of girls

Dislikes

Lack of cultural programmes only one big festival called bloom but nothing more
Some faculties are very strict and it is for our own good but it's gets pretty tiring soon
Class time is too much compared to recess time there is two recess and a lunch break with lunch break being 1 hour and recess being 10 min with 10 min being very less

Internships Opportunities:

TCS IBM Infosys Mindtree UST Global Speridian Accenture Hexaware Technologies AtosGlobal Wipro Senoirs are taken by the placement companies every year. The placement compared to other colleges is very high.

Student freindly teachers and classrooms
Quality of education is very good and very easily managable
Our college have very good infrastructure and live flights

Dislikes

Parking space is very less so parking is difficult here
Limited resourses available on computer.
Implementation of uniform from 1st year to last year.

Likes

The college garden is awesome and have large spaces.
And architecture block block is superb loved it
The canteen near the law block is good for couples and friends.

Dislikes

The uncleaned pool in our college its messy
The mess doesn’t have a queues system and doesn’t have range
The infrastructure of hostel near the mess is really bad

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies and internship have there we have audi for those internships and companies like infoys , amazon, wipro and google etc microsoft are enrolled many students and many project are made by our students like microprocessor and chips even ai robotics.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year

The food there in nehru clg is literally avg they should have change that and make it perfect
They should change the non billing fee methods

I like the most our college campus with hill view and full of nature. Infrastructure is good in our college. In Our nehru groups of institutions there are many campus like arts engineering,nursing, physiotherapy, health science, criminology, law.
In our college there are many festivals not only onam, Pongal there is also many functions like avatar, fantabulous, festember, genisus, nice this functions are very excited with happy and joy and till nyt it will be contain with dj .
Our college faculty are good they help us in teaching and mentor us in good manner . Placements are good in our college.

Dislikes

I dislike means stationary because there is more rush. And it takes more time to take Xerox are some others. I dislike it .
I dislike college bus because there is no college bus at Saturday. They only provide buses at main areas like gandhipuram, ukkadam, tirupur, kuniyamuthur stops. Sometimes there will be very rush in college . They take two bus students in one bus.

Our college provides many placements and the students will be trained from second semester and our college contains placement training class. For campus placement the students became eligible at 5th to 6th semester. I attended many on campus and off campus . I made three offeres in Cri pumps, aquasub and hyoseong. Eight five percentage of students are placed in our department. Packages are as per the company.

Likes

They provide incubation support for the students who wants to do projects
They make the students participate in various outer college events and win so many prizes.
The class room facility is very good. It has smart boards in each classroom for better learning

Dislikes

They can improve sports facilities by giving special coachings for all the games
Can improve lab hours during studing and lab facilities can be improved
Can make the college campus language as completely in english so that students will speak good English

Internships Opportunities:

There is a internship center in our college where students can join and gain more knowledge during semester holidays.There are also credits for the certification. The lab equipments are also availablity for each type of internship.

Likes

The college infrastructure and environment was quite okay and peaceful because it is greenish in nature and some huts are arranged for the enjoyment to gather there and have some fun
Not much strict in this college and some what liberal for the students to the enjoyment
Three canteens are available and one is the most favourite for everyone called spicy village like look like a hotel

Dislikes

Faculties and college management should be sincere towards the course and education provided to the students in a practical manner
For the Placements they need to be more seriousness on getting high packages to the students for their better future
Management should need to improve on students affair and curriculum

Hostel is very good here and special hostel for 1st year students
Veg options for vegetarians also available.

Dislikes

Less patient flow in hospital as it is in remote area
No big ground for sports you have to struggle for playing

Internships Opportunities:

You have to do one year internship in hospital of this college itself but the apfient load is very low. You have to self aware to attend the patient,as I saw there are no such crowd seen in hospitals even on Sundays
