2019 batch onward curriculum has changed and from 2022 batch this curriculum has got revised again. So basically there will be 4 academic years and an internship period of one yeat duration. During the academic years it will train us more towards knowing the theory aspect of mbbs. Each year students will be studying and writing theory and practical exams for new subjects. Without passing exams of an academic year you are not allowed to write exams for next year. Also the amount of stress and self conflicting moments are too common for a medical student. Suggesting new changes in the middle of course like NEXT is real a stress booster for students. Also making students to study 6 main subjects of mbbs during last one year must be changed. There will be 2 internal exams and 1 model exam and based on internal marks from these 3 exams qualification to write University exam will be assessed. University exams will happen after each academic year.
The fee structure for the course is out of the mind. They charge very high fee for the course. First year fee is above 2 lakh which can be considered a lot for the course. The college also provides scholarships.
Course curriculum is mainly practical oriented and based on NMC guidelines. I choose the course because of interest in the field from childhood it was like a dream come true. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:25. Faculties are highly qualified most of them being Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects and a great amount of experience along with modern solutions. Terms are held every 3 months and it is very hard to pass as an exam. In a term conducted exam, 52 passed out of 150 Batch.
9 lac and payment mainly by cheques. No extra charges for confirming the seat. The fees breakdown is clearly mentioned on the website as well as the prospectus. So it is fully transparent. You can get the admission easily if you have the required marks and eligibility.
I have scholarship for my fees so an amount of 150000 is to be paid annualy. Normal candidates who doesnt have a scholarship have to pay an amount of 660000 anually. Fees can be remitted in any method that is in cash or dd or online transfer. It has a fixed fee structure as per the guidelines of govt of kerala.
The fees for MBBS Course for students form Management Quota is Rs.5,00,000 annually according to the All India Quota. The fees for MBBS Course for the NRI students per annum is Rs.20,00,000. The fees is quite expensive.
The fee structure is expensive and is not affordable for a middle or lower class student. But compared to most of the medical colleges in southern part of India the college has a less expensive fee structure which is still high.
