The admission to all the courses at Nehru Arts and Science College is based on merit. Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the last qualifying examination. The application forms are available both online and offline.

NASC Coimbatore Placements
The college has a dedicated placement cell that arranges for companies to visit and employ students. NASC also has a strong alumni network that helps students form connections and gain industry internships. Often students that perform well receive offers form their internships as well. Last year, students received offers from well-known companies like CTS, Capgemini, Amazon, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Infosys-IT, Nestle, CHC, VWR, Omega, and more.
The placement cell also aids students by providing tips and helps in interview preparation. Around 70% of the students receive some offer or other. In 2018, NASC received over 1000 offers in total, with 10LPA being the highest package received by a student. The department of Computer Applications received the most number of offers.

NASC Coimbatore Scholarships
The college offers merit scholarships and fee concessions to students on the basis of the following criteria:
Nehru Vigyan Scholarship: Students with greater than 90% in CBSE board and 95% in State Board are provided a full tuition fee waiver. Other students are given concessions based on their performance. Students might also have to pass a test to be given the scholarship.
Need-based Concessions: Students belonging to EWS can apply for a tuition fee waiver or for loans with the help of the college. This is subject to availability and other factors

Hospital - The college campus has within a 900 beds super specialty hospital with tie-ups to the college to provide treatment for students.
International Air Transport Association - The College has an approved training centre for the International Air Transport Association. There are also MoUs and tie-ups with various International colleges.
Modern Library - The College has a library for students with International and National journals, magazines, and research papers.
Sports Area - Sports area is available for basketball, volleyball, football, shuttle tennis, table tennis, billiards, a health club, gym, and air rifle area.
Aeronautical Campus - A value-added region is there containing replicas of various fighter jets and other aircraft, along with an aerodynamics laboratory.

Ans: Yes, NASC has 3 hostels for girls and boys each. The total capacity of the hostels is 2200+. Students have to pay INR 55000 per year to avail of hostel facilities. The college also provides transportation facilities. A grievance committee is also set up for hostel wards. Food is served as per the menu decided by the committee.
Ques: What is the highest package offered to students?
Ans: The highest package in 2018 was received by a student of BCA which amounted to 10 LPA.
Ques: Can anyone apply for the Nehru Vigyan Scholarship?
Ans: Students who have scored above 75% are eligible to apply. This is applicable to both regular and management quota students, however, seats are limited and will be done on a first come first serve basis. The maximum fee waiver given is 100%.

Ans: Under the Nehru Outbound for Leadership Excellence Program, students are given an opportunity to unleash their potential and expand their boundaries. The program works on the inner strength and core interests of a student to prepare those best for coming interviews.

Eligibility of the course is just 50% cutoff in +2,there was no donation or anything for the admission,I joined through a educational consultancy the procedure was soo smooth, within one day my seat was confirmed

There was no entrance examination for the admission process, direct admission can be taken through different agents or we can book the seat directly by visiting the college and by paying an amount of 5000 in advance we can book our seats.

I have had a great experience at this college it has good infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The spacious classrooms. Well-equipped laboratories. Very spacious and well-maintained library. clean and neat college space and zero ragging. Good teaching staff and management of the faculties who are highly educated. The bond between faculties and students is nice. We have mentoring periods also where students are mentored toward academics, problems on campus, etc. Colleges have a placement cell in which the placement officer makes sure that all the top companies come to college. Training is also there for the student's prior placements. The campus life is very exuberant lively and full of zest many Festa are conducted throughout the year. The course curriculum is good. There are many clubs like finance club, leadership club, Human Resource club, etc. A good campus life...

The fee has not been mentioned for the MSc in Food science and nutrition, you can register and download the brochure for the detailed information about the course.
The fee structure for BSc course at NASC Coimbatore is INR 1,20,000 for 3 years.
