The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Calicut is inviting applications and from UGC Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) for PhD registration. The selection will be based on the rank list by the Department Council after an interview. The interview of the selected candidates will be conducted on January 24, 2025

University of Calicut PhD Admission Documents Required
Candidates must have the below-listed documents at the time of the interview.
- Biodata including recent passport size photograph
- Date of Birth Proof
- PG Marksheet and Certificate
- JRF Award Letter
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying for the UGC JRF for PhD must complete the following eligibility criteria:
- UGC JRF in Mass Communication.
- Minimum 55% in Master's in Journalism and Mass Communication or equivalent.
